Mariano just plays so well as a winger. But should we keep him? I dunno. If he's a free agent this summer, I'll say yes. ;)

I think Palermo are demanding 2.5 million, probably Euro, for him and we aren't interested in paying that much. Rightly so.

I thought Mariano's contract expires this summer!

It would be useful to keep as a winger/second striker, instead of wasting money + talent on a 5th striker. And it looks like that he's happy here anyway. :p

Well if we give Adriano so much time to find his form, it'll be ludicrous to let a talented youngster goes through our hands just because of a couple of bad matches.

If we give Grosso, coincidentally from Palermo as well, the same chance next season, then Mariano deserves the same as well. (Oh wait, Mariano isn't Italian so he doesn't deserve it. :p)

Inter is the B team of Argentine. :D So keep Mariano when he's a free agent. Even he's a offensive player, he still has a great determination to win the ball. BTW, his non-stop run is very useful especially when he's substituted in second half.

Well in the last matches he has had a few decent performances but still I doubt that he is good enough to be at Inter.

But if we keep him for another season I wouldn't mind...

Waleed?

God I love it that I was proved right, after all. Said it from beginning that Mariano "Freaking" Gonzalez is a great winger. It took ten months before he got the chance to show it, and meanwhile I was being mocked, ridiculed and whatnot for standing up to my man. Now Inter fans all over the websites, Inter-ratings etc. rave about the guy, wondering why he didn't get more chances.

Among all my shitty predictions, bashing of players such as Zlatan etc. I got to be finally right about someone.

Keeping Mariano and letting Santi would probably be the best option. Mariano did improve a lot in the last month.

er, not me. I still wouldnt say his even close to a 'great' winger.

his mediocre, simple.

Yeah, he got a chance. but it was in useless games, nobody was trying. He missed the easiest of chances, didnt pass very well etc..

His a decent player, but nothing more.

he was never played as a winger, or even in figo's position behind the strikers ever

he was played as a striker, and what do you know, hes a half decent striker with a half decent diving action

Anyway, he'll return to Palermo or perhaps move to Porto (according to news).
