This guy is a great right winger, am I right? If I remember correctly, he tore us apart when we faced Palermo at the beginning of last season?

I am excited by this signing. He is Argentinian, hence I'm sure he will play with lots of skill, heart and reliability.

Well done on buying this player, inter. :)

His main position is right winger, but can play as left wibger also. Just like Figo. He is good player IMO, now we can get rid of Cesar...

LOL, what the heck?

This guy is so similar to me. We have the same birthday (I am born a year older), we have the same height and weight :p

Main difference is that he plays for Inter and I don't :(

BTW, VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION, CAN HE PLAY BEHIND THE STRIKERS?

Welcome Mariano :boogy:

Are you sure you are not confusing him with Santana who owned Ze Maria for Palermo's thrid goal. Mariano did come on and I do remember him giving Favalli a hard time of it but Im pretty sure it was Santana that was catching the eye more than him.

I'm loving this transfer! I've wanted him since two years ago.

Well, sort of.

I meant Figo/A Mancini type players who can play in either wing and even behind the strikers. If so, then it's a catch. If not, then I sadly think it's an unnecessary since wingers galore at Inter.

i have heard many great things about this guy i mean i heard he could give great crosses and scores many goals from midfield i think this has got to be the best transfer season as we have not made a mistake as yet i hope we dont swap ronaldo for emperor.gonzalez might made left wing his.i hope if he performs well he will sign for us permanently.

remember what chaos that grosso and gonzalez gonna cause on the left of midfield im really sure they both have a great understanding.the left of inter were once weak but weakness have turned to superiority over the years.great to hear but adriano has no excuse now plus crosses are good for header king crespo.

As I said, he can play both on left and right.

Btw, does anyone know if we have an option to buy him permanently?

His contract expires next year anyway, so we won't need an option. If he impressed and wants to stay, we can sign him for free.

Reality is like this. Mariano will first of all be a back-up for Figo. They remind each other very much. Figo is getting older and shouldn't have to play so much this season. Mariano is a perfect player to step in.

His first position is as a right-winger, so do not expect him to be a starter as a left-winger.

I have to confess that I never heard of this guy, maybe it sounds very stupid, but it is the truth.

Could somebody tell me more about this guy ?
Or does somebody has any short compilation or other movies of his skills or something?

Yeah, we jave Maxwell and Solari as left wingers. But what I said was that he can play as LW also... Although his main position is RW. Just like Figo.

Who knows, maybe he will be our next Figo...:)

I am very happy to tell you that he - CAN!!!!

And not just can, he can ROCK on that position!!!!

There was one game last year when he played there and was give a man of the match award.. If that is not enough let's just say that he scored 2(!) goals in that match!!!
I'm not sure what match that was, I'm gonna try to dig it out..

F*uck Amantino, we have Mariano! :boogy:
And Figo, and Solari, and Maxwell and Maicon! We're lock and loaded for a wing play!!! :boogy:

FORZA RAGAZZI!!!
(damn, I'm overreacting :p )
