I don't think he's worse than your Stankovic or less average than him!!!!!!!!!

Deki is by no means a flashy player that stands out but 9 out of 10 times he'll get the job done wherever he is playing. He's the work-horse of the midfield.

I agree with Marcy about Maicon... As I said before, he was brought in as a sub for JZ, not as a sub for Figo...

That means Mariano is geat player for us, and theese clips show that.

These clips show one part of him; if you only saw the best parts of Recoba's game, you'd think se's the best player in the world. It's kind of same with Mariano Gonzales. I hope he proves me wrong and performs week in week out.

Surely he's a good addition to the squad and could cover up for Figo and Stankovic in some games. I think he'll adapt to the surroundings at Inter in no time since he has been in Italy for 3 years already and our team is full of Argentines. He's on loan for a year so let's see how he'll contribute.

Wish his all the best in the Nerazzurri jersey.

my question is whether he can be the workhorse in midfield in a 4-3-1-2 ... just like Stankovich ???

I ahven't seen him playing in that formation, but other say he can. He can play as RW and LW, and behind the strikers. So he would be great sub in every position...

We already have enough work-horses. Mariano is more a flashy, creative player from what I've seen at his time with Palermo.

we don't need another workhorse, we need someone who can create chances and from what I have seen so far then Mariano Gonzales fit that bill.

well in absence of Stan we do need a more mobile player in centre of midfield in a 4-3-1-2 ... Dacourt is not for that.

Dacourt wud be an adequate replacement for Cambi/Viera but nt Stan

I agree. And I think that Mariano can play as Deki's sub eighter. And if not, than I think that Cambiasso can take Deki's role, and Dacourt Cambiasso's.
