It's good to finally see we got rid of him but I have to admit we are going to miss his physicality in our midfield. We need someone like him! On his good days he used to absolutely boss the midfield but then he would go ahead and give the ball away in a dangerous area...

I still can't help but wonder if Spalletti could've tightened his screws and made a proper midfielder out of him.

Interesti finally got rid of their scapegoat of 2016/17.

He's a great player, glad he found suitors.

Only follow Serie A, but apparently this douchebag did great at Valencia.

But as it it often the case with Inter, you could doubt if his disappointing performances in Inter were really his fault or (also) the fault of the club.

I believe Spalletti could get him to play good here.

Well, at least we get some money for him.

I rated him highly since I first seen him play for Sevilla as a teenager. He was just ill suited for Italian football.

Put him in the former players section.

Good bye and good riddance. I hope some idiot club activates your release clause so we can get our juicy 25%.

This is an excellent point.

I have a hatred this club for the environment which ruins so many decent players. Let's compare Kondogbia to his former midfield partner at Sevilla, Medel for example. Both players didn't succeed at Inter. And as you say, a lot of that was partly down to the club itself, with its dipshit management and idiot coaches. But Medel gave everything he had, as crap as it was, and was always professional. He was one of my most disliked players while he was here and I'm fucking glad to see the back of him, but I don't bear any resentment towards him. Kondogbia can eat a dick though.

Actually spalleti said today that it is fault of the club that doesn't do enough to create conditions for the players to adapt.
And it was very weird how direct he was in the accussations ,he said pretty much the following:
"I did everything i could to make Kondogbia feel important at Inter , we used to train him alone during the night. But the club doesn't do enough to help these players adapt. And if after 1 year another club evaluates our player 80M while we valued him 25M it means that we have done smth wrong"

Actually its not that i mind losing Kdog. He was good with potential to be very good but its not that he is replaceable. What pisses me off is the bad deal we made. Basically we evaluated a midfielder less than a RB just because we were desperate and he was unsettled at us , which makes this a very bad deal...

we were desperate for a full back and for avoiding a capital loss. well, at least one thing, we got it right: no capital loss on kondogbia.

and hopefully, a couple of lessons for the future.

i have to say though, it would be extremely painful to me to lose cancelo.

Inter never learn from their mistakes because they keep making the same errors over and over. The fact Kondogbia has an 80 million release clause speaks volumes. Our management are complete fucking amateurs, not only for what we conceded in this transfer but also for the way the player was treated whilst he was here.

Аnd how was treated fucking Kondogbia while he was here? He had many chances to prove his worth. Every coach except De Boer gave him starting spot and never said something against him. Even Spalletti did everything go keep him here. Why do you blame the club for weak mentality of this twat.

No doubt he was a good talent when we got him years ago, but I think we need a better scout who not only analyse the players' physique and skills but also their mentality.

I thought Kondogbia is going to kill it here, as he also quite decent when he played for Sevilla, it means, he can play outside France.
Not sure why he couldnt do the same form with Inter.

What do you suggest we do? Request future players to undertake a psych evaluation be they sign for us.

It’s actually easier than it looks, just check local media, read comments below, then check social networks, find professional to analyze data and you’ll get solid picture what to expect from player. Plus, we have to have our insider for every main football country who will give us some first hand information.

Two examples are Brozovic and Kovacic. Just from Croatian media we could know exactly what to expect from both players.
