I don't think it's only on the club owners from that time, Sky did such a good job of marketing the PL as "the best league in the world" from the mid 90s and people started to believe it. The PL were ahead of the game in having TV deals as a league, while others like Serie A were still individual and only helped the big clubs, which was good for the top Italian sides then but terrible for the league long run. By the time Serie A went collective, they were so far behind the figures the PL were getting that they'll never catch up.
Lazar’s dad, he certainly comes in cheaply
Didn't they sell to more than one company and have a lot of pay-per view back then though? The big difference for the PL was that Sky got everything back then and they used it as their big selling point, so they marketed it better than the league would have by themselves. For the record, Serie A was collective befoee the PL was and it failed which is why they switched to individual deals with some protections for the "leftovers".
dont worry, we dont have 10m for arnautovicGuarro says Inter will pay 10M for Arnautovic.
And Taremi is a supporter of a child killing terrorist regime. Who can say no to this beautiful due? They are our "best" options after all! Let's give 25m+bonuses for 31 years old Taremi and 10m for 34 years old Arnautovic. This is for the best!Arnautović is a racist prick. How low this club can really go...

That offer was apparently 8m valuation, including Sensi.Bologna rejected €8 million + Sensi
Great post. People do not understand enough what these players think. I mean players in a team which want to win. They are not thinking about this is lesser game than this. They are thinking about winning every game.I know what you are saying, but for THE PLAYERS it's very important that they get to win something and to go as far as they can in every competition. That's how you build a winning mentality, players get used to winning games and HOW to win games. Would be lovely to see Inzaghi replicate that to at least one Serie A trophy too, but overall, if you don't have a winning mentality, you probably also won't reach CL spots and will lose out on a lot of money that the club really needs.
Thumbs up on the whole post tho.
Play Esposito. In friendly hes not worse than correaHe should be much cheaper. Spending more than 7-8mln for 34 years striker is a crime.
Yeah sure. Any suggestions? Or to close my eyes and pick one randomly.
