Read what I said, signing Zirkzee sounds trash and Zirkzee is trash are two different things. Signing Bruno Fernandes for instance also sounds trash. Why spend money on a position we’re very well equipped in.

According to Marotta and Inzaghi, the goal is to raise the bar. We failed to convert enough vs Man City and Atletico.

Given that we don't use traditional wingers or AM, the logical move is to bring a top forward that adds another dimension to our attack. I believe that's what Inzaghi wants as well.

Having competition for the starters would keep them on their toes and ensure consistent performances. May the most in form play!

Anyone read latest gudmundson interview? He is backtracking hard from a dream of playing in premier league and said he changed his mind. Someone probably pulled him aside and said you should stop talking about that when your main and most high profile buyers are in italy

Anyway, I think he is by far our likeliest buy in attack, and rightfully so. Probably the most versatile player we are being linked with, and inzaghi likes those.

He had 26-6 this season,how much development he needed?

I get new league,big team,blabla...I'm not even suggesting we should have gone for him cause I don't know his characteristics.

It's just not true that you can't find better option for the same price.

Icelandic Albert Gudmundsson is to be accused of sexual assault.

The charge comes after Iceland's attorney general overturned the district attorney's decision made back in February.

- The witness's explanation is extremely credible, says Eva Bryndis Helgadottir, who is the lawyer for the woman who was supposed to be the victim in the case.

- This is of course in line with what my client has said from the very beginning. So it is no surprise that she is now believed. The case must go through the court system now.

- An indictment has not been created, published and confirmed yet, and it is impossible to say how long the case will last, the lawyer tells Visir. However, she believes that Gudmundsson will probably be charged with sexual assault.

Albert Gudmundsson is currently playing for Genoa, and he has previously been part of the Icelandic national team.

However, he has been on break from the Icelandic national team during the entire course of the case, which started last summer - except for the playoff games for the EC in March this year.

Here, Gudmundsson was back, but Iceland failed to qualify.

Gudmundsson has also not been selected for the upcoming test matches for the Icelandic national team, and the lawyer is happy about that.

Neither of those would be starters here they would be 4th violin, the reason they turned out so well are a combination of being played and playing in a defensively weaker league and having no sort of pressure or expectations on them.

Sørloth and Dovyk had shown nothing of note on a bigger scene before, playing mainly in low rank leagues. Sørloth failed in EPL, failed in Bundesliga, got a limited amount of succes in Socidad and then hit a wonder season this term that I guarantee no one saw coming. Dovyk Came from Ukraine where he had one good season again not many anticipated he actually would replicate it again both largely did so well because there where no expectations and no pressure on them and likely could be a one time performance. Unlikely they gotten into such form as 4th choice here.

We also were looking for something with experience and that has a more proven record in the league.

Sanchez came off a much better season than both of those guys.

Arna had a very similar season to Sørloth by the way…

For a cheap 4th striker those profiles are exactly what we should aim for, unproven in lower league. Those two blossom in a top league for now you reject them due to low profile. Arnau flops at Inter again you still see him a better deal. Wft man...what do you expect them to do more to convince you, winning CL with Real or City then get them for cheap?
