Agreed. I hate the song. I use to love DPG, but their time is past. :|

Kurupt's lil' brother, Roscoe is tight though. Reminds me alot of a younger Kurupt. Still waiting on his new cd.

His new song 'Fuck buddy' isnt to bad, the guy certainly has talent. Loved his appearences on Kurupts albums and his solo on training day was great.

Ive already heard one track from it and it fkn ownz, a pure EA Ski beat.

Luni Coleone & Hollow Tip - Still Wanted

Ras Kass mixtape

Smoov-E - Sum Yung Girl

Dogg Pound - Cali iz Active
The above album looks decent, has production from Jazze, battlecat, soopafly, david banner, RICK ROCK!!, swizz beats...thats one hell of a production team.

Oh definately, 'So hood' is fkn tight, im always playin it. EA Ski is re-born producer in the past couple of years. I knew he was back when he produced for Frontline, then when he came on San Quinn's album.

Messy: "You niggas got toolies? but that aint on heat..ill slap one of your niggas like an EA-Ski beat"

Anyway, what do you guys think about the ambassador of the bay, E-40?

His basically taking 'charge' of the hyphy(bay)-movement, and i really cant believe how quick that grew!

His song 'Tell me when to go' with keak, has fkn grown on me so bad, especially after seein the clip a few times.

and now the remix with Kanye West and Cube!!! great.

http://www.odeo.com/audio/718235/view

REad that article, it explains quite a bit about 40.

The way he was going to perform with Snoop, the Roots and all but didnt was great and thats loyalty.:star:
Fack me, I didn't even see this post. I have mad respect for E-40. Not a huge fan of his voice but he's been putting in work for the Yay music scene since time began it seems.

I've always been more of a Socal guy but the Hyphy movement is really starting to grow on me. I've heard/read quite a bit of love shown for the Bay and Hyphy but I've also seen lots of hating from people who think it's just 2nd rate Crunk (which I find ridiculous since they're not even that similar)

Love the video for "Tell me when to go" too. :)

^No?

Well the real rapper has to be Eazy-E, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Tupac, and Biggie. I really used to like them when I used to like rap :p

Now rap means shit to me but I listen to it sometimes...

I wouldn't consider NWA as rap, but Hip Hop however I consider Tupac, Biggy and Ice Cbue (before he was made an NWA member) rap. Hip Hop is dying down (not that I care for it so much), but to me rap is just the 50 Cents and the Lil Waynes.

Gangsta rap still exists in every coast, and id consider these guys rap compared to 50 cent Saz..who I consider to be mainstream pop..yes ill go that far.

Rap has gone down big time yes, but if you know where to look theres enough good shit being released...;)
