'Must think'? What the hell do you know? Do you have any FACTS that point to him being arrogant?

He gave a very respectful interview when he left and hoped that the Inter fans can have a good season, because we don't deserve another like last season.

Then you call him a jerk, based solely on speculation. You act like he is some arrogant asshole who insulted Inter, when in fact at every opportunity he has proclaimed nothing but love and respect for our shirt. Who exactly is the jerk here?

And of course every 19-year old is supposed to know exactly what to do at all times right? Yeah, life is easy like that. It's not like you've ever been young, right? No, at 26 you know everything about the world.

Woah, looks like i've hit a nerve there. Don't know if you have a poster of Luc on your wall or have a crush on him or something.
And when did i call him arrogant?
If you read the post it's pretty self explanatory. Luc thought he knew better than the people trying to help him. He has wasted an opportunity He's gone from a big club wanting to keep him and help him develop, to Fc Twente.
He's acted like a Jerk therfore i called him one. A lot of 19 year olds would have killed for the opportunity he had, but he couldn't see past the end of his nose. And the last thing we needis some young stubborn kid with an attitude thinking he knows best (remember Balotelli)

In all seriousness i have nothing against Luc and i wish him all the best for the future. It was also good of him to say nice words about Inter, after the shitty season he had with us. I reckon he will perform well for Twente and hopefully go on to have a good career.

In the future when he's older he may look back at this situation and think "Geez, wasn't i a jerk"

And you need to relax and not take things so personal. I only called him a "Jerk". With your reaction you'd of thought i'd of walked in to his house and pissed on his Kids at Christmas

Luc has to do what he thinks is best for him, which is not necessarily what's best for Inter. It has nothing to do with him thinking he knows better, or any such nonsense. And as far as him acting like a 'jerk'?

He signed for Inter, not some shitty bottom table team with 12 fans in the stands every week. If he doesn't want to go to Bologna or Novara, that's perfectly within his rights. It's also within Inter's rights to tell him to GTFO. Neither side is in the wrong for doing what they did.

I don't give a flying fuck about Castaignos. The fact that you called him a jerk without any factual basis and are talking out of your ass just pissed me off.

When did you call him arrogant? :palm: Um how about 'he thinks he is the best thing since sliced bread'?

Nice face palm, but if you would have read my post properly I said "he MUST think he is the best thing since sliced bread. Not he DOES think. I appreciate English may not be your first language but their is a difference between what I said and what you quoted me saying. :palm:

And you talk about facts, where are your facts to prove my assumption is wrong instead of just throwing insults my way like a cock end.
Are you saying Luc didn't think he was too good for a lower club in Italy, or that he knew better than Inter where to be loaned out to develop. If you do please enlighten us with some facts.

If you read the news reports and what people have said Luc refused a loan move to another club in Italy.
Inter invested in him and it was in Inter's interest to to develop their investment and get him some playing time for him in Italy where he needs the experience. Luc snubbed that, simple as that. I would only give him the benefit of the doubt unless he was home sick or desperately wanted out of Italy all together.

Look at the quote that Pajo said was from his friend.

He is great talent, and will probably be one of the best poachers out there, but won't be mistake to sell him, it's a must.

Let me explain why. He has fucked up character and i've told him that. He was raised in Rotterdam East, with his gangsterboys. They aren't criminal or something, but they are like gang, some say blayboys lol. In his neighborhood, 50 000 people were singing songs to him when he played for Feeyenord. When he signed for Inter, he was regarded as neighborhood god. Now, when Inter asked him to go in smaller team, it was an insult for him, and that's why he doesn't want to go on loan. That's why he refused loan last year as well. The way he grew up, and his age, he just can't understand it's the best for him AND the club. I talked to him few times, i told him 'Luc, one step backwards can mean two forwards', but it's pointless, he doesn't get it.

That's why he will be sold. There is no place for him in this Inter, and he doesn't want to go on loan in another club bar Feyenoord. And one year in Feyenoord will mean nothing for his progress, or very small. Besides, he had conflict with Strama and he said that to me, i know 100%. If you remember, that was time when he was send to primavera, he argued with Strama, and Strama didn't like him there, but had to play him because he was asked from the management. But it didn't go well, so he was send in the first team again.

I know the boy, and i have watched every single game of his, i know he is good and has the talent. I will miss him at Inter and will stay in contact wherever he goes, but it's the best for all of us, he has to be sold, unless he accepts loan to lower club which he would not.

Now I can't say if that is true or if that is a fact. But if thats the case then Luc defo sounds like a areshole. An arrogant one at that. I stated an opinion that a lot of other people on the forum agree with, look at some of the previous posts. Also i said i think he is a jerk for making a silly decision, look ay some of the other names he has been called, are you going to get on to those posters as well or you just have a problem with me??? If you are offended by me calling someone a name based on assumption then FIF may be the wrong place for you. Look at some of the other players threads and names that have been thrown about. Are you going to jump to their defence as well.

You wanted a fact, i'll give you this one. Luc has left Inter Milan for Fc Twente, because he snubbed a loan move and decided he knew better than the club to develop his talent. A club will try and land you at a club where you will get good experience. Thats a step down in everyones eyes. If he is happy with that, then fair do's. But IMO i think he has been stubborn and has maked a wrong decision. Good riddance if a 19 thinks he knows better than our management.

In future if you don't like an opinion then there is no need to start throwing insults and starting arguments in threads. And you don't give a fuck about Luc? Then why reply to my post of my opinion of him if you don't care about him. Especially when all the info in front of us looks my assumption is correct.

I stand by my first post. If Luc has left Inter because he thought he was too good for a lower club in Italy then i think he is a jerk for doing so and has wasted an opportunity at a great club.

I still can't understand why we sold him. Yeah, the money was good but damn I'm sure he'll turn out a great striker in two years or so.

Its good but scoring in the dutch league is not really an indication of anything. Jozy Altidore has twice as many goals as Luc in the dutch league.
