If another player with same or similar profile is going cost an extra 5 million, is it really worth not closing over? Just to draw a line in the sand?

I would take a Utilitarian Approach to this.
Yes more then worth it, you make precedence that no contractual terms or no agreement is final before documents are signed, making it possible to continually making demands even two seconds before the signature.

You need to stand firm when agreement’s been reached, they agreed on the contractual terms meaning it is binding and no additional negotiation can be made as it’s conclusive.

Even if it’s a €100 it would be worth it just for the principles in it.

His entourage can just f*ck off and so can he, don’t want too see him ever wearing our jersey with that sort of mentality… Juve is a more suitable place for the kind of person

Some of you dont seem to understand the implications of us caving in on this deal.
If that "entourage" is waiting for an answer it is obvious they changed the terms and are playing dirty. Inter negociated and reached an agreement with Pimenta which was the player's agent. They put everything on paper ready to be signed. IF the agents fee should be split differently (saw claims that daddy was cut out of the deal) you can simply redo the papers and change percentages without changing anything else.
I am more and more certain that the deal will not go through for a few simple reasons. Lack of trust between Inter and whoever the fuck that entourage is and cutting out an established players agent completely is not something any professional football company would do if they still want to sign anyone worthwhile.

lets not forget that we're talking about our 5th choice midfielder here, as well... literally like a gagliardini replacement right now

dont get me wrong, i hope he explodes and gets amazing, etc, etc, but right now he's 5th/6th choice. If it was some big name player coming to Inter you MIGHT (I wouldnt) find it more forgiveable.

im personally way more excited about frattesi. He's gonna play a lot this season. It's not clear to me how many minutes Samardzic would get.
Fuck Frattesi, this team desperately needs fucking fantasista, someone with fucking magic in his feet. After Dybala we ruined another chance. Forget about big result next season.

He has some peculiarity that nobody has in our midfield.

In first place he's left foot.

In second place he kicks corners and free kicks from any position which means a lot of solutions after Chala.

He has not the constancy of Barella or Frattesi and he will never ever have it but he has a talent that is unmachted into our pack of miedfielders.

Be careful: his lack of costancy will be the biggest issue of his career.

Sure, I can accept that. I'm not saying he's shit, to be clear, but right now, I'd expect him to slot into 5th choice player in our midfield for the coming season.

We won't budge because then Pimenta wouldnt get anything too. That would be unprofessional from our part. And is Beppe one? Not in a million years! And you want to have a good relations with one of the biggest agent in the world.

This is another reason.

Don’t matter if he was the bringer of day, his mentality is horrible and that is half the package

It was obvious this deal was off the second his entourage got involved. Now that both players are back to their base its official. I havent been this hyped for a player since Barella but I respect the clubs decision. It is what it is.

Or maybe the guys just went back to their teams so they can continue training while this is resolved.

It's already clear that Marotta not pay that 0.3m and he won't go to Inter. Maybe it's better for us to buy a good defender and keep Fabbian in the team.

According to the Gazzetta, Samardzic's entourage is asking for a salary increase and not an increase in commissions.

Everybody go fuck themselves
