Doesn't even matter if Samardzic wanted 5€ extra a month, it's the principle of agreeing a deal and sticking to it. Inter should show some balls and not cave in to their demands. So far it seems like they are doing that, which is good!

And we all know Inter are cashtrapped, they probably had hours upon hours meetings, discussions to calculate the finances of this deal.

Fabbian coming back from Udine to Milano.

Per DAZN

If this motherfucker Samarđić is good enough for inter&udinese than fabbian should be too. Bring him back and let this morherfucker go to west ham, and after 3 years find his place in any ex-yu league. Fuck him

It doesnt matter if Fabbian returned. Deal could still be on. If Samardzic really likes to play under Inzaghi, in UCL , they just gave him a thinking window. But tomorrow there has to be a response.

Yeah I have a trust the kid will make it work. As I said earlier in the thread, dad and the entourage overplayed their hand since they weren't actually even dealt a hand. They have no leverage on us. The player, his own fucking son, wants the move, both clubs want the move. The assigned agent, most probably contractually valid agent for this move, wants the move and has everything agreed with Inter.

Dad has nothing really in this one.

Disagree with this position.

Im not familiar with the industry but surely there are some kind of preliminary agreements, a club can execute to protect itself.

For example, in a typical purchase and sale agreement of a business, there are Letters of intent or MOUs where buyer and seller can enter into an agreement and commit money usually by way of a deposit, in the event that a buyer or seller pulls out without a valid reason.

In this case, if a preliminary agreement was made, where a party would pay 2 million in the event of a situation like this, then you wouldn’t have an agent blocking a deal over commission.

Also, if a club has committed the entire transfer window on a player, such as this situation, it shouldn’t lose all the hard work over some small commission.

Got to see the Big picture here !

the big picture is that whether we stand firm, or concede, is going to define whether we bring in a family clusterfuck wanda 2.0 into this club. before you know it he'll be demanding more pay raises, special treatment, and the fucking captaincy

stand firm. If a contract was agreed, he can legally and rightfully still pull out, but if an agreement was made, you either sign that agreement or you dont sign it. You dont change the price after.

If it’s for nothing more than half a million, are you willing to pull out of a player you have been chasing all summer?

It's the principle.

I'd rather never deal with someone who is going to treat the club as a doormat.

It's not about the half million now. It's about every fucking time another club shows any interest in him over the next few seasons. It's about the power matrix and the complexity they'll bring to the table. It's about Inter not sucking up to our 5th/6th choice midfield choice.

The guy needs to know his place, and prove himself, and negotiate from a position of strength.

300k now is 500k next year is 1mil on the next renewal is 2.5mil when Chelsea show interest in him in 2 years time is the captaincy in 3 years (if he stays).

Before you know it, he's a fucking handful. This is, off the top of my head, the only time we've ever had this level of issue with a player coming in. He had weeks to negotiate what he wanted. If he wasnt happy with the offer, he shouldnt have taken it.

Precisely. We need to show these players at that age, or more specifically their entourage that who's running this thing at this point. That can change if he starts balling. So far he has done fuck all, specially for Inter, so the dad just needs to sit this one out.

If another player with same or similar profile is going cost an extra 5 million, is it really worth not closing over? Just to draw a line in the sand?

I would take a Utilitarian Approach to this.

The guy is clearly pissed off but he has to be pissed off only with his entourage that fucked up all the story. It was all done, fuckers, even the medical things.

Now I hope Udinese will not sell him to anyone this season but I honestly believe that Rubentus is going to step in asap.

He is gone to Udine. Probably signs for Rube now to show us.

I Do agree we did the right thing here .in principle.

My only dig is the guy should be getting 2M€ , for his goals and assists. 10! Growth degree is on him anyway ffs. We could have him in our squad.

Don't have one.
Just tell him to fuck off already, they obviously want that, and we move one. Concentrate on finding another mid but different type, someone big and athletic, ideally.
