Gds saying they also wanted a signing bonus and that today there should be no news, but tomorrow is the day where everything should be clear.

This is such bullshit that i really dont care if he comes or not. If he does sign, he will be a problem in the future, especially if he plays well, or if he doesnt play a lot. There will always be some talk from his dad how inter is the bad guy.

We don't care what he's going to do next year. He's serbian and his family is a problem: he's meant to stay just one season then leave the fuck out for twice the price we spent for him.

Don't have one.
I'm now doubting this will happen. You don't need three days to decide on conditions that were agreed almost half a month ago, presuming we stood our ground all this time like journalists are reporting.

This looks to me like they want us to act first, lose our patience, and tell them to fuck off, so they can say afterwards they did their best, kid wanted to join, but unfortunately time ran out and agreement couldn't be reached.

Funny our club keeps getting disrespected. He should've asked for more numbers instead of wasting his and our time smh.

The rumours that Inter is not budging from the terms agreed upon with Rafaela Pimenta´s agency appears to be for legal reasons.

Not exactly sure about how these things work, but if Rafaela Pimenta agency acted in this transfer, they surely had the proper authorization from his father’s agency. Even if they didn’t, they acquiesced, in allowing Pimenta’s agency to negotiate on the players and dad agency’s behalf. This went far, to the point where the player undertook the medical.

It could be that Inter may try to maintain that this deal was at least verbally agreed upon was de facto a done deal.

If however, Inter reopens the negotiations, the father’s agency may demonstrate that this wasn’t a done deal and pull out entirely.

How hard is it to talk to your dad??

I can confirm the rumours Lazar was spotted in Milano getting pizza are false. In fact he was in a shop getting phone credit. Once he has topped up his phone, he will call his father and resolve the issue. We will then meet tomorrow morning for breakfast, or latest brunch. The contract should be signed in time for lunch.

They work pretty much like any other deal. You agree on whatever you agree on with the player's representative and the legal department gets the papers ready with clauses and whatnot. You do not just get your legal department to work on papers if you are not at least 90 % sure the deal is done. Generally when papers are ready only a failed medical can stop the signing or something out of the ordinary. In this case its a greedy family that is trying to force Inter's hand. Unfortunately we already set a very fucking bad precedent with Brozo and saudis so this shit is no surprise really.
Even if this kid signs it is a terrible start for his career at this club since there is already no trust between his family and the club. I am really doubting this will go through at this point. I have been directly involved myself in this kind of shit and the feelings of the player coming from that area matter a lot less then you would think.

Di Marzio reported yesterday that we told him to return to Udine. See the connection?
Hence I asked, so any reports he’s in Milan can be dismissed or it’s showing his commitment 😈

What I'm interested in understanding, and this is based on rumours, is the underlying reason for Inter's rejection to re-negotiate any new term put forward by his father's agency.

Question is, If Inter's reps were to allow for a re-negotiation, even in agreeing to just pay extra commission, the reported 300,000 ( which is minimal), could this give his father's agency the legal basis to re-negotiate other terms, and potentially put into question the finality of the agreement, and negotiate with other clubs?

An antecedent question is whether as things stand, can Inter argue that the deal was final? Whether a player that doesn't sign a final agreement, is nonetheless still binding?

Deal is not final untill signed however when one party tries to renegociate after a deal was struck and papers were ready to be signed it shows lack of professionalism and morals.
We should not accept any other terms and they can go fuck themselves just like we should have done with the saudis.

If that’s the case, and the terms aren’t materially different, I believe the club should accept.

Legally there is nothing stopping Inter from renegotiating. The agreement is worthless without the signatures, whether agreed to verbally or not. Howveer to change things after finding agreement is unprofessional, and Inter's refusal to renegotiate is a principled stand, not a legal one.

At this point I’m more in favour of cancelling the whole deal then getting him. His family spells trouble in the longer run, we will have this issue again if his stay ever reaches to the point of a contract extension.

We already had this pleasure with Icardi agent Wife Wanda, no rationale in going through this madness again.

I imagine Inter stand firm both to not make precedence in other contract negotiations in the future as well as standing better in terms of legal actions.

I would at this point not be surprised if the Father has a hidden agenda and try to find a hole to cancel it all if there is basis for renegotiation, or at least use it as an excuse to bail out. Regardless he seem like a rather questionable character.
