Still my problem is that for a regista, he still doesnt show himself enough for the pass, while Calhanoglu is everywhere. He must improve on that.

He has a very good passing range, both with his left and right foot from what I've seen of him. The biggest improvement he needs is defensively imo. Really happy for the pass as I like him and hope he can succeed here.

10 years of FIFWhy? I think Asllani is our 5th midfielder and Klaassen is the gapfiller. We are missing 1 midfielder if any.
I am not counting the fraud Sensi.
As a side note, a big thumb up for Inzaghi trusting kid in the key moment

Because we are forced to sell every summer and He and Dumfries are next on the chopping block.Why? I think Asllani is our 5th midfielder and Klaassen is the gapfiller. We are missing 1 midfielder if any.

Hakan will be 30 years old next summer, I doubt we can make big money out of him.
And Asllani needs at least one more season to be our key MF.

10 years of FIFAbout the goal against Roma. I forgot to mention this in our episode of Inter Jections (sorry for the disgusting advertising), that the Asllani pass should get more credit, more than maybe initially thought. Why?
We attacked pretty slowly most of the time (since Roma defended kind of pretty well, or decently at least). Our crosses went to Roma box when it was crowded and organized. Asllani's pinpoint pass allowed Dimarco (credit to him aswell for being such a baller) to give a fast pass to the box. How did the box look like? In disarray. Defenders weren't back against the goal, ready to defend, they were running towards the goal like Thuram. Not optimal at all for defenders.
All this was enabled by that long, fast and accurate pass by Asllani (and Dimarco's fancy ball receive).

10 years of FIFIndeed beautifully orchestred by both Asllani and Dimarco, but also credit to Thuram for that nice run to finalize it. Sometimes these accurate long balls are underrated, I mean someone else maybe would have played a short pass sideways but Asllani's quick reaction deserves some more credit. He does rushes into things sometimes, but he's only 21 years old, and playing in such a difficult role at this young age is quite a heavy task IMO.

10 years of FIFThis kid might end up being a masterclass in how to manage a youngster by Inzaghi. So many of us clamoring for him last season and he wasn't getting any time, and now he's coming in at the most crucial parts of games and absolutely bossing it.

10 years of FIFI think if he develops into a great baller it would be testimony of being a too good of a talent to fuck up even by us.
Great awareness of where Alexis was before the pass. Very happy with his performances. He's not getting many minutes, but he's getting important minutes which is just as important. Since the Sociedad game, I think he's done well and contributed positively in every single sub appearance. He's actually played in 9 of the 14 matches so far, which is good.
