Great composure, didn't look shaky at all except for 1 where he got pressed near our penalty box. Glad how it is turning out as I was pissed when he rejected a move to Monza. Great fighting spirit and never complained. Hoping for more of his contribution throughout the season.

I think it's too early to be a permanent starter but he could start against Frozinone with Hakan on the bench.

Good performance. Dude is confident which he wasn’t against Sociedad for example.

Him and Bastoni are the best long ball specialists in our squad.

Glad that he's being very useful recently. But I don't think he should be starting against Frosinone. There's a two weeks break afterwards, so we need to wrap this win.

He will most probably get his playing time in second half. We need Hakan's authority in midfield.

No need to complicate things at this point. We are about to play both gobbi and Napoli right after the break so a false step against Frosinone would be like shooting yourself in the foot.

True, but - and i can't believe I'm saying this - recently he hasn't been just good, or just OK, the dude has been great. I think it was the game against Atalanta, when someone passed the ball to him by the end and he took it like a 30 years old veteran by the out line to lose time... I don't expect that yet from Frattesi, let alone from Asllani.

Today he showed maturity in looking for the ball, passing the ball around, being there for teammates, using the hands a la Cambi, to give directions to his teammates... And he just looks comfortable as fuck with the ball, like he can do these movements you do with ease in training but in real games you don't have the luxury to do them...

I'd be ok with him getting 20/35 minutes, but I wouldn't mind to start him. Miki definitely needs a break.

Limone is too riggid to now change Hakan to Mikhi place.
Hakan’s always looked poor playing in Miki’s position.

I’d actually like to see Asllani tested in Miki’s spot.

We haven't seen much of it, but he has a very nice dip on his shots. I believe he took a free kick against Salernitana similar to the shot today, where you think the ball is going over the bar but it dips right before which makes it very difficult for goalkeepers. You could see their goalkeeper struggled with that shot.

I hope we see more of it. I believe he was a regular free kick taker and scored quite a few goals in the Empoli primavera so I think he has this in his game.

Very happy with his development so far. I think it also shows a good mentality that he rejected a loan move and wanted to stay. He knew he wouldn't be a starter but seems to believe in himself that he'll prove himself enough to get more minutes.

He's only started one match, but he's getting important minutes which is the most important imo. He has played in every CL game as well.

He has showed enough to earn a starting place at least in a game like Frosinone. Players like him need continuity in order to keep the confidence and momentum going. Although I still do think he needs to work on positioning.

I'm all up for playing him as starter in some matches, but there's a two weeks break right after Frosinone match, so why complicate things now? I'm afraid he will be thrown under the bus in case things won't go as well as we'd expect. I've seen that scenario earlier.

yeah FIF stands on either, Hall of Famer prospect or Serie C benchwarmer at best. It changes every month. Limone has found a good balance IMO and is incrementally increasing Asllanis playing time, and he is getting better adn better.

I fucking love that he is equally as dangerous as Hakan from distance and has great long range passing. Those side switch passes are orgasmic. Hopefully he bulks up and gets better defensively.. this is hands down the hardest position to play for a youngster.

Hakan could be introduced in the second half. Frozinone match is exactly where player like Asllani shall start. If the other two are Barella and Mkhitaryan, he will be surrounded by enough experience and quality. Arnautivic and Bisseck have to start as well imo. Acerbi looked exhausted as well as Darmian. For me, the line up could be: Bisseck - SDV - Basto - Asllani - Barella - Mkhiky - Dimarco - Dumbfries (if he is ready) Arnautivic - Lautaro.

Shame he didn't score from that shot. Definitely looks like he might be ready to start a game here and there.

There’s only really a break for those who don’t play for the NT. Asllani and Hakan both do but Hakan plays way more for inter. I’d give Calhanoglu a breather and let Asllani build some momentum.
