Obviously I won't make judgments yet since it's possible the news are wrong as they are often with Spaletti's 11.

But there is no reason Vecino should start this game. We've already seen that Gagliardini/Brozovic has worked before. I'm not saying they should be our starters for years but they've done well together both in smaller and some bigger games too (away Samp, derby, etc.). Vecino put in such a horrible performance against Sassuolo that if Gagliardini can't get a game now, when can he?

Brozovic also didn't have a good game but he's so essential to our game that you can't really drop him, plus coupled that he had to play with Vecino who was even worse, and it wasn't easy.

We'll start winning when the individuals start playing as a team, this is how Sassuolo beat us, not because they had better players, but cause they had a better team.

We can also start winning by benching players who lack concentration and sense of responsibility by consistently giving the ball away wasting the team's effort.

I would've liked an easier game at home after the loss at Sassuolo. Torino have strengthened a lot and can trouble any team. Inter will have to play at our best to get a win this weekend. And win we must!

At least Perisic and Vrsaljko are back, which means that Asamoah can go back to his LB spot. Nainggolan is a big miss though, he is the one who is supposed to add quality to our midfield. Hopefully Miranda will not be missed, thank God we have de Vrij for such days. I would start an attacking line up:

I rather keep going with skriniar and Miranda together and slowly Intergrade de vrij. Skriniar will be playing with 3 new players in defense. They all are solid but one second of confusion might cost us against Torino.

I don't think Politano will be benched, he was our only bright spot in attack last week. Keita might be worth trying out as an SS, but I want to give Lautaro more chances.

Until Nainggolan comes back our squad is crying out to be playing 4-4-2, or at least 3-5-2/4-3-2-1, I wish Spalletti wasn't so stubborn with his 4-2-3-1.

I am actually surprised about Vecino's hatred in FIF, he is a good player tbh, sure he is frustrating at times and is reckless and maybe gags and brozo might be a better fit but gags is horrible going forward, his passes are safer than vecino but vecino has some great surging runs tbh . The same players were excellent just one week before vs atletico then our players we were dismal vs sassuolo.

I believe spalletti is not an idiot he sees vecino and gags in training almost everyday, depending on the type of the match and the need to change tactics or adapt to the opponent he chooses his players. I don't mind gags and in my honest opnion I think both vecino and gags are bench players anyways we should have had a starter next to brozo but we got keita so spalletti must have an idea that hopefully will come to fruition soon.

vecino is the first midfielder for spalletti, he will play him no matter what.

when this midfield fail, he will blame brozovic for it and bench him too, just like last year

later we will play nainggolan-vecino with lautaro midfield.

in the next mercato both gagliardini and borozvic will be gone. gagliardini in january.

Vecino is not a Defense Midifielder in my oppinion. He is not bad but in that position he has problems.
I dont know, maybe he want that some club see him playing and get interessted but we have not enough midfielder, we can't sell him now.. or we get someone without contract (Marchisio/Yaya Toure) if he leaves

Once again Vecino is a good player, spalletti is a competent coach who knows what he is doing. These two players are not the difference that causes us to win or lose a match. I hope we consider playing with two strikers upfront if ninja won't play because we don't have a amf atm.

I am okay with having a versatile midfielder like Vecino in our team, but he is the backup player material at top. No idea what justifies his selection over Gags which is physically better and has better passing.
