Realistic mercato will depend on the outcome of the season. It ain't over yet boys (and girls). We still have several more episodes to this show and I'm not talking about football games.

So if we try to think positively at the end of this day we might think teh following:
1) Conte stays because he has been promised some signings useful to his idea ( think Kante , Dzeko)
2) Messi gets away for free because wants to join Inter

So the formation for next year can't be anything other then the 3421 , honestly can't think of any other formation where you play both lautaro and messi

That looks pretty feasible and actually like a really good squad, apart from Palmieri, Gagliardini, and Ranocchia remaining first choice sub for De Vrij.

Today looks like Darmian is instead of Emerson. Waiting to see if there is any chance for Kante and Džeko but I wouldn't be surprised if we bring other players instead.

Also RCD position is still not clear as it looks like one of those mentioned will be sold.

And God knows only what will be with Candreva and Vecino. Probably they will stay, especially the first one.

After this summer we still have a worse squad than Juve, especially now that they will also have Kulusevski.

I don't mind missing out on Tonali to bring somebody more experienced, I just hope this isn't us being stingy just to splurge on Messi next season or something stupid like that.

With Godin's leaving Conte's 3-5-2 now is clearly shaped:

Handa/Radu
Dumbo/ Darmian - DeVrij/Skriniar - Bastoni/Kolarov
Hakimi/Candreva - Barella/Sensi - Brozo/Eriksen - Vidal/Ninja - Young/Perisic?
Lukaku/Dzeko? - Lautaro/Sanchez

Looking closely to each position & the corresponding sub, there is no player whom play "not in his best position". Wingbacks are really wingbacks. Side-centerbacks are really defensive-minded fullbacks etc.

I like that approach tbh. No half-ass solution.
