From the Pordenone game I felt that he lacked discipline.
I understand that he likes to move around a lot and switch position as that's his play style but it didn't feel like his movement/positioning was well thought out, he was a bit erratic

It was definitively him going out of the position. Spallo had him playing ni the left leaving the right wing to a more natural winger such as Cancelo. But this kid all the time was coming to the right wing too since he was more confident so Spallo had to move Cancelo as left winger.

Funny thing was spallo saying to Brozo when coming in "Play simple , we have already too much confusion on the pitch" according to the Rai journalist.

The guy is only 19 to be fair. Candreva has been really poor in recent games, Karamoh should be playing more, even if they are short cameo's.

I think the only reason he isn't playing more is because we're under pressure right now for results, which would be really not good for his development. Especially with the behavior of our fans.

He has to get more minutes. We have very little depth in attack and the current starters are so awful.

Even with his mistakes or bad games, stick with him and give him chances. We bought him because we thought he was talented. You can't keep him on the bench and play him once every 6 games and then wonder why he never panned out.

It's not as if Candreva is doing very much for us right now.

I always thought the kid would deliver, and I still think that now half a season later. He is quick, he is fast, he can dribble, and while now and then he makes a mistake (and let's face it - who doesn't in this squad), most importantly he has the balls to try. I can only imagine how much the potential experience would've benefited him had he became a semi-regular starter at this point.
Once we got him and Rafinha in tonight, our game unlocked and we started to attack a lot more openly. These two players are absolutely instrumental changes in our starting XI if we even remotely desire to get to CL. I also might be getting ahead of myself but judging by those few flicks/passes he and Rafinha had there seems to be a natural chemistry between them, maybe because they are the only two players in our squad who seem to have actual technical ability to play football as far as our midfield and attack go.
