In 2017/2018 he should've started way more games especially with the way Candreva was playing. But we had an italian coach with an italian mentality so there was nothing to do.

This. Karamoh never lived up to the hype and he only showed glimses of what could have been but we didn't really help with his development. His first start came in February (!), after a very poor run in the league (8 games without a win), which coincided with a system change, from 4-2-3-1 to 4-3-1-2, where he played as one of the two forwards and scored the winner. What did Spalletti do in the following game? He gave him another start but he switched back to 4-2-3-1 with Candreva as a LW, Valero as AM and Eder as a lone striker. His next , and last, start came two months later in an away win against Chievo. This isn't how you develop youngsters.

And this wasn't the only case of Spalletti stubborness to give a chance to a youngster. Spalletti didn't even consider giving a chance to Zaniolo. Even Cancelo had to threaten with a return to Valencia in order to get a proper chance from Spalletti.

I understand Karamoh decision to come to Inter where his only competition was a declining Candreva but he underestimated the fact Italian coaches in general, and especially Spalletti, would rather play underperforming players and grandpas over a youngster.

I'll never understand why he wasn't given more chances. He had everything we lacked up top. He was very fast, technically gifted and wasn't afraid to actually try things, he wasn't paralysed by the pressure.

Another case of player being at the verge of rupture before having their chance under Spalletti is Lautaro whose father even went as far as to speak with journalists about the way he was treated and I remember there were talks about him going back to Racing on loan.

We are crap at managing young players, I'd say if the fees we paid for Barella and Basto weren't that high we would 100% have started the likes of D'ambrosio and Vecino over them, and said that they need to "adapt".

FCInternews confirmed Inter are set to receive 50% of any fee that Torino pay Parma.

Funny thing is, nobody seems to know the transfer fee for the moment.

History: Inter payed €6.5M back in 2018, then sold him for €8M to Parma. His current market value is €4M.
