On St Ettiene's first goal though, Karamoh was just jogging and let their player easily run past him on the right flank and get a cross into the box. Poor defending from both him and Bordeaux's midfield / RB. It's exactly this kind of thing why Spalletti is reluctant to use Karamoh. Seemed to have a very positive match though nonetheless.

I don't think it's fair to directly compare Politano's and Karamoh's contributions. I agree that Politano is at this moment more complete player but take these figures into consideration:

Karamoh - 18 apps, 600 minutes.
Politano - 12 apps, 900 minutes.

Politano already has 50% more minutes in an Inter shirt than Karamoh, with 33% fewer apps.

Would you send on loan once again Karamoh - who is having a season better than most of us could ever imagine, and also has more tricks down his sleeve than Positano, or you would sell/loan Politano - a player who is having a solid first season here and is one of the most stable players we have in the team...

This is not team depth. Having two good players in the same position (not even mentioning Keita here, nor Candreva) while our midfield players are a laughing stock, is far from team depth.

If Perisic leaves Karamoh has a spot open. We need four wingers so I don't get why Politano has to leave.

what i don't understand is why FiF'ers are always talking about selling perisic vs selling Candreva. The point is to build a good team, get rid of deadweight and have real competition for places.

I get the FFP/SA thing, but that should be over with at the end of the fiscal.

Candreva is gone for sure. I think with Perisic it's if there are enough market demand for him so that we can grab a good price for his sale.
