Karamoh has started 3 times in a row for Bordeaux:

- vs Nantes: 1 wonder goal
- vs Montpellier: full 90 minutes
- vs Zenit: 1 great assist

Plus 1 goal at the beginning of the season = 1 goal / assist every 110'. He is developing at the correct pace..hopefully his crazy potential polishes. Keep going Karamoh go go :slick:

@ the people who say spalleti doesn't rate him, wasn't him that pressed for karamoah for 7m? or was it someone else?

I don’t get where the “Spaletti doesn’t trust him” narrative comes from. Almost every time we were desperate for a goal in the second of the previous season, Karamoh would be subbed in. Often ahead of Eder.

I am glad he has broken through the Bordeaux starting XI. That is the entire purpose of this loan. We know his talent, he will develop if he gets playing time.

Next season with Politano + Karamoh, our right wing is proper sorted (assuming both develop their end product).

Wasnt it Spalletti who pushed for Keita which in turn pushed Karamoh out?

Speaking of Bordeaux though, those fuckers are rock bottom of their Europa League group with 1 point from 4 matches and only a miracle will see them progress. That means potentially less matches for Karamoh. Would've been great for him to get some experience and exposure in the elimination stages of the EL.

Still better than sitting at the bench for Torino, Sampdoria ect.

According to Karamoh Inter really believe in him

“I came at Inter very young. It was not easy to impose myself in the squad because there were many great players around me and that team was finding itself after several years. It is also difficult for Keita Balde and Lautaro Martinez who is a superb player. Before coming to Bordeaux, I spoke with all the staff to understand that they really wanted me. Many at Inter see me as a future player of France, one that has great potential. They do not want to commit the same mistake made with Coutinho again. He was here for two or three years and did not play. He left and boom, he exploded.”

I don't know if we consider him another Coutinho but i think we certainly rate him as a player with lots of potential. Our initial plan was sending Candreva to Monaco and keeping Karamoh as our fourth winger. When Candreva rejected the move we were forced to send him on loan else he would rot on the bench. And the fact that we were only willing to accept a dry loan also shows we believe in him. I am glad he went on loan tbh. At best he would get Candreva minutes and i can't really say Antonio has played a lot this season. And that's the case with both Perisic and Keita underperforming so far. For once, we made the right decision with one of our youngsters.

What I'm really glad is that he went on loan abroad, because we all know he would be getting benched for some 33 year old Italian in our league.

Karamoh is the MoM vs PSG :) Bordeaux is also the first team who could take 2 points from them.
