honestly, i think a "new formation" will help us. we have become a bit too predictable lately. so if we mix things up a bit, even if we are only doing so because we are forced by the injuries, it is not a bad thing imho.

Banter era continues,with these injuries/transfer requests and EL looming as well as inability to buy anyone cause of FFP this starts to remind me 2012-13 season. Hope the team will perform in a (at least) satisfactory manner and won't go in full tilt mode like we do usually.

I do wonder, when do we declare the banter era officially over? I think it was done the moment we got back into the Champions League. If we were still in those dire times then the corner against Lazio would have cannoned off of Ranocchia’s face onto the crossbar and then Icardi would have injured himself trying to score the rebound.

With basically half of our attack out winning this one would be a miracle. I think the Christmas tree is the way to go if we want both Icardi and Lautaro in the starting lineup but i don't think it's gonna work with this midfield. Maybe if a fit Nainggolan was available it could work with Mario in midfield and Radja in the left forward position but i can't see it working with this lineup. I hate a back 3 formation but i think this is the way to go for this match. I would go for this:

Handa
D'Ambrosio- De Vrij-Skriniar
Candreva- Valero- Brozovic- Mario- Asamoah
Icardi- Lautaro

It's far from ideal but i think it could work better than GdS predicted lineup.

I think it will work much better.
Btw, why don't we put Miranda in a 3 back. Why not try Dalbert as LB and put Asamoah in the middle. Torino is a very physical team and they will eat papa Valero alive. Valero would be good for the last 30 minutes.

Obviously 4-2-3-1 is not working, Brozovic and Icardi are too alone. With Lautaro and more help for Brozo we would be better.
But, if that means starting VALERO, then i'll stick with 4-2-3-1

i don't fucking care if torino away was always difficult for ous... i have enough of this mentality, as Inter fan everyone should know that we will win today...but nope, teams like Sassuolo and Torino are of course favorite against us. I want a win today and there is no excuse, Torino is shitty as Sassuolo, Cagliari, Udinese.. this are games we need to win.
