there is a low chance we'll play Barcelona, and if we do, I bet Vidal will be injured :D

FM made me think Guarin would be World class haha

Fk that game!

Juan Pablo Pino if Colombia was in our 2007 or 09 U20. He would dribble past everyone dude looked like Messi. Monaco paid a fortune for him. Even had a friendly against Inter that Mourinho was impressed with him. Was a total shit head now plays in 2nd divison India or some shit

But the worst of all is Kerlon who we had that did the Seal dribble dude was a cunt and still remember Guarin drop kicking him during the U20 WCQs haha

for me - belhanda for sure. I thought he was going to be amazing.

But man oh man, yoann gourcuff seemed like a can't miss. His play at bordeaux was incredible and I remember people appointing him the next zidane. That style on the pitch, finesse and good looks made it seem like he was a sure shot for greatness. Sucks that he flamed out really hard. I thought he was brilliant.

also - andres d'alessandro. loved his game too.

Max Meyer. Back in 2017/18 he was the starting deep-lying playmaker of a good Schalke side that finished second in the league and he was considered one of the most promising midfielders of Bundesliga. He became a free agent at the end of the season and he prioritized money over career which led him to Crystal Palace of all clubs. Roy Hodgson used him in every possible position (b2b, AM, even on the wings) but his best one. Two years later he only plays for Crystal Palace youth team and his career looks done.

He became a free agent at the end of the season and he prioritized money over career which led him to Crystal Palace of all clubs. Roy Hodgson used him in every possible position (b2b, AM, even on the wings) but his best one. Two years later he only plays for Crystal Palace youth team and his career looks done.

His downfall already started in his last year at Schalke. His contract was about to end and Schalke wanted to extend. Being one of the top talents in the Bundesliga, Meyer and his agent thought they could push for the big money and put Schalkes management under a lot of pressure, by saying how Meyer is a world class player who could start for any of the top teams in Europe. The agent also claimed they had received multiple very lucratrive offers, while rejecting all offers by Schalke. The relationship between the club and the player (+ agent) got progressively worse and in April Meyer was frozen out of the first team. In the end they overplayed their hand and accepted a contract by Chrystal Palace.

During those last few months in Germany he got an ungodly amount of shit by the media, the supporters and other trolls who picked on him for the „world class“ comment by his agent. Even deep into his first (unsuccessful) season in the PL his social media was flooded by people calling him a world class player at a world class club

I wouldn’t even be aware of the fact he was relegated to the youth team, if you hadn’t pointed it out. Hilarious.
