So I got this idea for a thread after opening up an old FM save. Here we discuss and reminisce hyped players through the years whether it be an old FM wonder-kid, media hype, early good string of performances in their career, market price, national hype, etc. and what we thought would come of them, where they would've ended up by now, and where it went wrong.

Think of players like Bojan Krkic, Federico Macheda, Samba, Adu, Gabigol (lol), etc.

Santon, he was so highly rated in old FM games, he was 18 or 19 year old and could be signed for just 1 million.

Also some player called Marquinhos in FM 09 or 10, he was just brilliant.

Also Ganso used to be brilliant.

That's the one. The best young winger back in the day. After few serious injures went into depression and retired. 26 or 27. Shame, such a great talent.
