It looks very good IMO..

I just cant wait for the season to start all over Europe. To see Atletico and Valencia winning things will surely be a fantastic thing.
I think Los Colchoneros is in the right track to win things and revive the old days of Hugo Sanchez and ofcourse the days of Bobo too :proud:

Helenio Herrera. :proud: Our most successful coach ever. :star:

I found it quite irritating that time after time, Real Madrid are supposed to be 'dead set' on signing Vieira. There is no reason whatsoever on why would Vieira leave Arsenal. The reason that they use everytime Real is linked to a big star is always, "Real Madrid always got their targets." :wallbang: Hello, Javier Zanetti is still here. Ivan Cordoba is still here. Vieira loves Arsenal and Arsenal loves Vieira. Arsenal also have a decent chance of CL glory if they build on their unbelievable success of last season.

Figo left Barca for the money.
Zidane had stated many times before joining that he wanna play for Real. The fact that his wife is Spanish also act as a catalyst.
Ronaldo moved for pure greed.
Beckham left because he was kinda driven off of Old Trafford.

Really, there is no reason why would Vieira leave Arsenal.

And then, the so-called Rooney project. :wallbang: It's absolutely comical and what's worse is that Perez refused to rule out the transfer even though I'm sure deep in his heart, he knows that he's not gonna sign Rooney this summer.

Real Madrid's spending power is truly over-rated. If they are really that powerful and rich, they would have had no problem in signing Costinha & Carvalho; 2 players who are wanted by Camacho and would have made Real Madrid truly unbeatable.

Sorry if I whine and rant too much. :D

Ok, not because i am a manutd fan through and through. But Vieria and Henry has all the rights to leave Arsenal, really.
I dont want you to think "ONLY" of the success they had in the past few yrs.

I saw Halle Barry waring an atletico madrid once in a magazine. Actually, their sponosors own shares in a Hollywood studio so they run advertisement with some stars like the spider man duo.

BTW, does anyone that followed atletico in their recent glory days remember the name of their two star players? one was a defender (his name was Nadal or something) the other was a striker (Canemero?) I'm just curious, i can't remember their names although i followed them.

 Cool jerseys. We should have invited The Fellowship of the Ring to Appiano Gentile!!! :scream::p I doubt they give a d@mn about Atletico though. :D

About Nadal, I always though that he's an Mallorca player. I honestly can't remember if he has played in Atletico or not. After all, he's retired by the time I started to follow football seriously. :D

Yes!!! Thanx. That's him, i remember there was a cartoon character named Kalimero when i was growing up. That's why i always remebered Caminero name from the resemblance.

I also think the defender name was Kiko as Pani said, i don't really recall. I guess i got confused with Nadal and thought it was him. One thing i know about Nadal is that he is the Montero of LaLiga, a very vicious defender. Thanx for all the help. :star:

I always remembered Kiko to be a striker myself, but i didn't follow his career that much and was quite young back in 97/98 when i first saw Atletico play. I remember this partnership upfront though:

---Vieri----Kiko----
-----Juninho-----

Juninho was one of the world's best players at some time before World Cup 98, then he suffered a terrible injury right before the tournament and has never been the same again. I miss the old little wizard. :(

Kiko was definitely a striker. A target striker on top of that. He was never a defender.

Don´t really know which is the central defender you´re looking for.

I'm gonna do a massive search and remember his name. For some reason i have his image in my brain when i followed that brilliant atletico side, at that time i wasn't as big as a soccer fan like now so i didn't pay much attention to names.
thanx anyway. :star:

Six, if Carboni is still there.

u got it right. ;)

Meanwhile, Di Vaio has spoken for the first time after he completed his £8m move to the UEFA Cup winners.

"I’m happy with the transfer to Spain," he stated. "I did everything that I could in order for the deal to be concluded.

"I’m convinced that I will have a lot more first team opportunities with Valencia than I had at Juventus."

Valencia now have six Italians at the club in the form of Moretti, Di Vaio, Stefano Fiore, Bernardo Corradi, Amedeo Carboni and boss Claudio Ranieri.
