Just thought I would start a thread for this league.

I am very happy with the way Barca are playin at the mo. It has been a terrible 18 months, yet now things have turned around and we could actually finish in 3rd, which I know sounds sad but believe me it would b a miracle considering where we were a few months ago!!! The same manager who I wanted sacked from Barca has turned it around since Jan, and although I ain’t gonna get carried away coz u never know what will happen, I am definitely gonna enjoy this good period – FORCA BARCA!!!!

Simply put it this way, Barca ended 2003 the way we started 2004 and they started 2004 the way we ended 2003. Do you get what I mean???

I am enjoing the way Barca are playing this last few months especially Ronaldinho. As he said himself nobody didnt expect him to score so many goals.
Next year Ronaldinho will be the best player in the world but I already consider him to be. My dream would be one day if I could see Ronaldinho playing in black and blue shirt and bringing joy to all Inter fans.

Forza BARCA!!!!
Forza Ronaldinho!!!

Man do I wish that we had gotten Ronaldinho when we had the chance. Just think if he was with us :surprised:

Ronaldinho is definitely the best player at Barca by far, I am so glad we got him. Saviola is my fav player but I have a horrible feeling he could be on his way out this summer, I am keepin my fingers crossed he will stay.

Honestly, I thought Ronaldinho was just another over-rated Brazillians. Oh how he has proven me wrong. If only we got him in the summer, I'm sure we'll be in a much better position. :( But there's nothing good about crying over spilled milk.

C'mon Barca!!! Well, not only Barca, but all non-Real Madrid team!!! :D

Only in my dreams could Barca win the title this year! At the mo I just want anyone but Real to win la liga, such a shame that Valencia were robbed of the 3 points against Real a few weeks ago.

If Moratti made the cuper sacking during the summer then i am 99% sure he'd ve been with us. He always publically talked about his appreciation of Moratti and his admiration of intermilan. Sadly we didn't need him back then and we desperately need a player like him now.

Speaking of him, i saw a game between Barcelona and Real Zaragoza back in januray i think. Ronaldinho made a move on the defender that i've never ever seen something like it. I found this article on soccernet.com talking about Barca and they mentioned it.

"Nevertheless, it is unlikely that their defenders have ever seen anything quite so strange as the action perpetrated by Ronaldinho in the second half of the game. Picking up the ball just outside the Zaragoza area, he sprinted over to near the left touchline, taking the defender Cuartero with him. Turning to face his adversary, the Brazilian suddenly affected a trick o' the legs that will have the kids in the Monday playgrounds vainly practising for the whole of the dinner period.

Quite what he did is difficult to describe, but the movement of his right leg, bending to the right, the left, then back again in a sort of jelly-wobble flash, put one in mind of some of those moves Keanu Reeves tried out in The Matrix.

The movement of the leg certainly bore little resemblance to anything previously seen on Earth, and Ronaldinho may well have blown his secret alien identity. Cuartero was as baffled as anyone else, and simply froze in a state of perplexed immobility as the creature from outer space sped by and centred."

They are different players in different roles so you can't really compare Ronaldo to Ronaldinho, though if I had a choice of which one I want at Inter I would have to say Ronaldinho

Of course. But in ten years the player I will remember is Ronaldinho. Ronaldo will be remembered as a phenomenon who lasted only few years and turned out to be a big, fat, lying, backstabbing son of a b!tch!

Gismo, Ronaldo only lasted at Barca for 1 year. ;) Not a few years.

And that trick that Ronaldinho did (The one described by soccernet.com) wasn't really that special. I have the video. It was something I've seen quite a few times before. ;)

Ronaldo was good for Barca, PSV and Inter. Afer his injuries he dumped to Anelka level...

Han, how much have you seen of Ronaldinho? Sometimes when Barca leads 3-0 I still watch the rest of the match because I wouldn´t miss anything from Gaucho.

I am Ronaldinho-fan :p

Oh, I misread your post.

He's definitely not dumped to 'Anelka' level. I think now he compensates his drop in pace by finishing more quickly and deadly than before. Still one of the world best strikers, albeit not as good as before. Btw, Anelka is not bad himself. ;)

Full 90 matches = 0. But I watched A LOT of him. Perhaps around 1000-1500 minutes this year. ;) He's a brilliant player. Did I say he's bad??? No. I was just saying that the trick was over-rated. It was a very good trick, just not as good as what the writer desricbed it as. ;)

No problem, Han. :) Ronaldo looses the ball too much IMO. He rarely creates anything at all. All he does is waiting to be served with golden chances. Out of 4 chances a match you would expect him to score 3 but he only scores 1-2 goals - sometimes three...

I can name 15+ players who could do better in Traitor´s position. Has Anelka has always been good but I thought he was bad in England. Hope you are right that he is good there because I like Manchester City.
