It's created a huge fuss around some other board that I visit between Barcelona and Arsenal fans. Personally, I think it's a loophole in the system and that football is and never will be too fair, so what Wenger has done is fine by me. If Barca have such gems, they could surely find a way to securing their services or atleast matching whatever English clubs offer in the future. Arsenal are linked to Fran Merida and Assulin Gai from your youth system. Don't think much will happen because they have been linked to Fran for about a year now and nothing has happened, but hopefully I am wrong because I like Arsenal. Sorry.

As said, we invest 7-10 Million Euros a year in youth work. Arsenal and most other british clubs from what I know don't do that, except for West Ham United maybe.
It's a boarding school system like Ajax has or most french teams, it's a center of excellence.
It was never much of a problem, until ManU and Arsenal came to buy the players. They can let them play for their reserves and give them different type of contracts and the kids go for it. But from what I know, UEFA wants to make rules over these issues and I hope they do it.
That's exactly my problem with Arsene. He moans all the time about bigger teams, while he buys off the investment of some clubs.
