Ausilio also roasted Milan. He said there were many teams after Frattesi even if they claim now they were never interested.
thats funnywho could it be? hmmm
"Now I confess one thing. I don't have an official Instagram account, I created one to check my wives because someone has created problems for me. You can understand many things from wives and girlfriends, even about the footballer's personality. Then I also follow players, even from other teams. But I created it for the wife of a footballer who was giving me a lot of problems"
“I don’t like to talk about timing, but about ideas. Lukaku is an idea of ours, but he is a Chelsea-owned player. The dialogue never stopped with them, we know he cannot be handed to us for a second season on loan, so we are evaluating if it is possible to buy him outright.
“He knows full well that we want to bring him back here, we’ll see if we can find the solution with Chelsea.”
“At this moment, Onana is Inter’s goalkeeper. He is one of the strengths of this squad and we would like to keep going with strong players.
“If opportunities arise, we will evaluate them, but as of today they either have not arrived or do not reflect our expectations. That is all for Onana, the pre-season training retreat starts on July 13 and he will turn up for that. If over the next 15-20 days there are movements, then we will evaluate them.”
“The contract has expired, but we are making valuations based also on what we will do in the next few days,” Ausilio told reporters.
“He is a talent like many other players, Inter have the duty to observe and monitor those players, and Trubin is one of them.”
Shortly after receiving his award, Ausilio spoke to Il Pertini Radio, reported via La Gazzetta dello Sport, to discuss a number of Inter-related topics, including the club’s current striking options.
When asked whether he would have preferred to have kept Romelu Lukaku, who eventually joined Roma on loan from Chelsea in the summer, on board for another season, his answer was a firm no.
“Do you know who I would choose between Thuram and Lukaku?,” he asked. “My answer is much simpler than the one given by (Beppe) Marotta.
“I would say absolutely Thuram, because he is a lad who wanted to join Inter, he chose us just as much as we chose him.”
He continued: “Two years ago, we had reached an agreement with his club (Borussia Moenchengladbach), but then he got injured a couple of days after signing off on the deal. We didn’t forget about him though and clearly he didn’t forget about us either.
“And, when other clubs became interested, even if they deny ever having an interest, he chose Inter and Inter chose him.”
I couldn't find a thread for Ausilio, so I thought I'd create one.
His interview last night was very interesting. Seeing him talk about players he's tracking was interesting.
Chicheres, Ogbonna, and Lichnovsky for CB.
Jung possibility
Funes, Quintero, Markovic, and a couple others on the radar too.
Very interesting. I have a lot of respect for him as our sporting/youth director.
Thank god we got Marotta who could kick some commen sense into the lad…11 years later. He didn't get any of his targets, and none of the targets made it either.
Task failed sucessfully?
I expect better from you. Come on now. Hakimi? Barella?Thank god we got Marotta who could kick some commen sense into the lad…

Thanks m8.“Thuram was a great intuition from Ausilio,” Marotta said.
Glad that the Lautaro transfer didn`t go through.Speaking in an interview with Radio Serie A via Di Marzio, Ausilio first opened up about Lukaku, what happened in the summer and where things stand now.
“I prefer not to talk about a player who is at another club, I’ve never done so in recent months. I’m just saying that I like to think about the present and the future, and Lukaku is part of the past. With him we won a Scudetto, he brought us a significant capital gain, and we lost two finals.
“I’m just saying that there must be education and respect, things were moving forward, it’s evident, but at a certain point they stopped. There are operations that don’t go through, but if there is respect, it’s never a problem.
“However, when you hide or send answers through other people you think about moving on. For me it’s a closed chapter since July 8, there’s no regrets.”
He was asked about the now infamous phone call between him and the Belgian striker in the summer.
“It was a firm call, but nothing special. I told Romelu what I thought, after I couldn’t hear him for some time.”
The Inter sporting director then touched on various transfer market anecdotes, starting with Lautaro Martinez.
“Lautaro’s story is a particular one, he was in fact close to Atlético Madrid, there were four days of crazy negotiations.”
He spoke about the most complicated deal.
“There’s many… it wasn’t easy to snatch Pavard from Bayern Munich, but because his club wasn’t willing to send him away.”
The sporting director revealed a transfer market regret.
“Fabregas, when he was 16, we did everything we could to get him but there wasn’t a chance because he went to Arsenal from Barcelona.”
Finally, Ausilio explained why Inter chose to replace Onana with Sommer in the summer.
“We needed certainties, Handanovic had also left. I take this opportunity to say that Samir will stay to work with us, there is a project that will involve him.
“We could have focused on younger goalkeepers, but Sommer was what we really needed, and he is proving it.
“When he arrived, he had already learned the important words in Italian for a goalkeeper, a crazy professional.”
