Someone grab him if he heads to Chelsea HQs or to Tottenham's. He can't be trusted at this point! Hopefully he just buying Rolling Stones tickets for Hyde Park or San Siro. Probably early, for the England vs Italy match tbh.Ausilio was in London and Italian media had no clue
We couldn't as we needed to sign rom by 30 June for the growth decree.I know this will sound like copium, but I guess we really hoped we could sell more players to generate a sizeable war chest, while Bellanova, Mhki and Asllani were cheap enough to prioritize at first and then go for Bremer, which IMO was the right approach.
We could've snatched Dybala and then hope players would leave so we could also get Lukaku, but you can all see how hard it is to sell Inter players. Everybody too snug here.
what?We couldn't as we needed to sign rom by 30 June for the growth decree.
tax residency is determined by spending the majority of the year in Italy - 30th of June is the last day you can sign Lukaku and still have him tax resident for FY22, otherwise its impossible to fulfill the residency requirements (since he was tax resident FY21, I guess it counts as a continuous period of time under growth decree)What's also known is the tax residency is Jan-Dec so it's not like there was a deadline. We just wanted it done ASAP I guess. Preferred Lukaku over Dybala.
Okay so it was a deadline, thanks for this info. Fitting as we got him at the last day, it wasn't by chance.tax residency is determined by spending the majority of the year in Italy - 30th of June is the last day you can sign Lukaku and still have him tax resident for FY22, otherwise its impossible to fulfill the residency requirements (since he was tax resident FY21, I guess it counts as a continuous period of time under growth decree)
