Anyone talking about sacking Spalletti now hasn't learnt anything from the 2016-17 debacle, and the many debacles before that. Spalletti has done well last season, and that merits at least one more season. This squad is WIP, being built to suit Spalletti's tactics. We have very few pieces missing (most notably a quality midfielder) for Spalletti to make a success of this squad. A new coach will have different tactical interpretations and will most likely need a lot more "re-building". Changing coaches mid season is a sure way of getting perpetually stuck in Year Zero. If we have a get a new coach, it has to be at the beginning of the summer. Otherwise its not fair to Spalletti, and its not fair to the new coach.
We should lock this fucking thread till the end of the season.
