It's a good thing we didn't extend Spalletti's contract.

Best way to reach top 4 is fire this bald fuck first, hire conte until end of season, then hire Simeone.
We won't get near top 4 with this fucking choker.

You cant be serious! You cant just buy Ronaldo for one season and replace him with Messi next summer.

Our team is suffering from serious fitness issue and also Spallo did not anticipate Ninja injury. What he had in mind the whole time was a formation consisting of Ninja and other 10.

Out of all stupid excuses, this right here beats any pathetic attempt from Spalleti lovers to defend him. I mean seriously!!!
Even JJM doesn’t come up with this kind of excuse, and we all know he’s in LOVE with Spalletti.

Ok, so let’s play this dumb hypothetical game, and say yes, you’re right.
Can you tell me who is the man in charge or putting together the plan for the pre-season fitness work?
Just don’t say the athletic coach, cuz then you completly have no clue how things work in professional team, where the coach is ALFA and OMEGA for EVERY detail and all the sessions have to be approved by him.
So this clown then, in all these years coaching, still doesn’t know how to correctly prepare a team for the season?

Simeone signed an extension with Atletico till 2020 only a year ago. He even convinced Atletico's sporting director, Andrea Berta, to do the same. He has no intention of leaving Atletico anytime soon. If Inter fire Spalletti in the next 12 months, then his most likely replacement will be Antonio Conte (if he's still available).

I think it would actually be more likely we get Mourinho. However firing Spalletti is a big if, he doesn’t warrant that yet.

Anyone talking about sacking Spalletti now hasn't learnt anything from the 2016-17 debacle, and the many debacles before that. Spalletti has done well last season, and that merits at least one more season. This squad is WIP, being built to suit Spalletti's tactics. We have very few pieces missing (most notably a quality midfielder) for Spalletti to make a success of this squad. A new coach will have different tactical interpretations and will most likely need a lot more "re-building". Changing coaches mid season is a sure way of getting perpetually stuck in Year Zero. If we have a get a new coach, it has to be at the beginning of the summer. Otherwise its not fair to Spalletti, and its not fair to the new coach.

We should lock this fucking thread till the end of the season.

Spalletti is proven top 4 coach. And we don't need anything else now than this stability. Its not good but its fucking second round.I'm really calm right now.We will get through this.
So it means that Spallo will continue to coach this club :) Simeone now have got the strongest squad ever in his Atletico career and I seriously think he can get treble this season, Inter is such a downgrade for him.
I think he will go after CL trophy.

1. Fitness issues and 2. Unexpected Nainggolan injury, are bad excuses.

How is Sassuolo’s and Torino’s fitness any different than ours? Do they have a 6 months summer campaign that I’m not aware of? All the clubs finish and start the season games together. Also how many unreplaceable WC players do we have besides Perisic and Brozovic? Nobody. Every other WC player has an equally adequate alternative at Inter. It’s not Sassuolo’s problem that Spalletti has decided to play a useless yet a WC fatigued Vecino instead of a better player in Gagliardini who also DID NOT play in the WC.

On Nainggolan, that’s what you get when you build your plans on one player. Of course he won’t be available at 100% every game so it would’ve been nice to sign another reliable midfielder instead of stacking wingers everywhere.

There's a legitimate question of how bad things have to get before we consider his position. It's clearly ludicrous to suggest he's at risk at the moment, but if things go really badly over the next 4-5 games, it wouldnt be unfair to have the discussion.

One point of frustration that shouldnt be ignored is that a lot of the mistakes originate from his decisions (i.e. dalbert, vecino).

Yes, i agree, UNLESS u win everything, like Mourinho with Inter, Guardiola with Barça or Zidane with Madrid.

If this year Atletico wins the all competitions, Simeone may stay there for 1 more year max.

When Conte was still coaching Juventus a journalist had asked him if he would ever coach Inter during a pre-match press conference ahead of a Derby D'Italia. This was his response:

Juventus coach Antonio Conte admits he would consider working for Inter Milan in the future. Juve visit Inter this weekend.

"You can never say never in football," Conte stated on the eve of the Derby d'Italia. "I'm a professional.

"I'm always the biggest fan of the teams that i coach. That was the case at Arezzo, Bari, Atalanta, Siena and, obviously, Juventus."

Spalletti isn't getting fired unless the team goes into a ridiculous freefall into the relegation zone by January. I'm not a huge fan of him and I don't think he'll ever lead us to any major trophies but he has a squad on paper that he can get into the top4

Yeah. At least he tells it like it is, unlike Mihajlovic back then going I'd rather starve than coach Milan because I'm an Interista.

Looks like Jose could be available soon haha

I don't want his shitty face in here. As far away as possible!

Thats way too disrespectful for a man who wrote history with our club. I was disappointed the way he left us, but at least we have to show some respect goddamn it.

I don't want Conte even though he'd be good for us, but more importantly I don't want this fucking mercenary egomaniac back either. You don't like my opinion on Jose, that's fine. I like loyal people (look at Simeone) not gloryhunters. Respect is earned in many ways.

A man who writes history with your club is allowed to disrespect you (him getting in Perez' car to go to Madrid right after the game that night wasn't disrespectful huh, and that Chelsea comeback when we were completely lost is nothing), but one can't have a disrespectful opinion on him because history right?
