I'm quite sceptical. I think Brighton were doing very well with their previous coach. Therefore he left for Chelsea, and they got De Zebri and now they are even better. It's not like he started from the scratch and did something exceptional. This is his first season as well. It could be a temporarily boost of form.

yea you say that about Mourinho at Inter and people want to kill you

I watched some Brighton games in and out this season, I see good stuffs, but not to a point where it impresses me to have a hard on for De Zerbi.
I am not doubting he evolved a bit comparing to his Sassuolo days; also I think there is a compatibility for managers and clubs, consider how Brighton run things, they are a good match, not too sure if it will work well if he comes to Inter. I really like Inzaghi for us, he is like Ancelotti for Milan back then. Inzaghi will grow with us.

There's no chance Inzaghi or any other top coach is gonna leave his current club to go to Man Utd during the season. They can only target free agents or coaches from smaller clubs.

People will laugh but i could see Allegri at Man Utd.

I think ? I said it last year

he'd be crazy to go right now, BUT, I could see Inzaghi doing it like next year. Inter are v unlikely to win the CL, winning two leagues consolidates him as a good-in-the-league manager not just a cup manager. What's left to do at Inter? There's a lot of grandpas that will need replacing, and not loads of money. After the club world cup, bounce isnt unreasonable

Going there wouldn't be smart for him long term imo. Something's just wrong at United that no one can fix. I'd just stay at Inter bias aside.

Agreed. I can see Inzaghi leave Inter in 1-2 seasons but i see no reason for him to go to Man Utd of all clubs. Club is in a real mess and they don't want to give much power to the coach on transfer strategy. That's why Tuchel turned them down last summer. One has to be desperate to go to Man Utd.

I dont disagree, but you could make the same argument for millions of manager moves in history.

If you're the manager who fixes 'the problem' at Man Utd, you'll be there for 10 years, on a huge salary, and everyone will think you're the GOAT. Managers, and players at the top end, inevitably are high ego high competitiveness - so its going to be fucking attractive for any manager, esp one on the 'up' in their career. And his successes arent going to get him to a Barca, Real, City, etc, so there arent actually loads of options. If he were to leave Inter, Chelsea, United, maybe PSG, etc, are probably some of the best options he's going to get atm.

And downside, if you fail, well, who cares? You still make enough money to last 5 generations and you do not become automatically unemployable

Allegri at Manchester United makes no sense, but at the same time, it makes a lot of sense.
But if they had an ounce of functioning brain cells, they'd go for Sarri. He'd reject them, but they should insist.

United are completely dysfunctional from internal management/ownership down to players. It would be taking a poisoned chalice.
