It's not about exactly what the dude wants, but what Southampton wants. Their manager (Koemann) didn't call him for their pre-season retreat.

I don't get it. Southampton bought him for 19 mill. then loaned him to Juve for free, & now he wants to go again? Can't this dude stay at one club longer than 1 season?

Other than that, is it just me or this dude really looks like Khal Drogo?

YES! lol pretty much just needs a scar on his brow

I can't believe people would reject Osvaldo on a cheap loan.

- In 2012/13 he scored 16 goals in the Serie A.
- 11 months ago, he was transferred for over 15 million €.
- He was an Italian international until recently, and scored a wonderful goal against my country in Copenhagen.
- He had one poor season, but still managed 7 goals in all competitions under very tough conditions for him.

Osvaldo is Serie A-proven and his mental characteristics could prove to be useful for Inter as we are trying to build a more physical, aggressive and perhaps more Italian culture at Inter. I think it is important for Ranocchia to have compatriots as allies in our squad as we build on a decade-long Asado culture. This is the new Inter, and if Ranocchia trusts Osvaldo, he would be a right steal and potentially a very positive influence on the squad.

It's not that I would hate him on the team. But we are poor. If we get him that means we miss out in someone else. If we had 3-good strikers and then brought him in as a sub on a cheap loan then that's fine. And our coach is mazzari. And mazzari likes him. This guy will not see the bench.

Is Ranocchia making decisions now? Rano already is an average player who shouldn't be at Inter, but instead is the captain :palm:

I have no doubt about Osvaldo's ability, but he doesn't have the mentality to be a champion and it doesn't look like he has learnt. I'd pass, even for free.

Ranochia has a whole squad of allies. They all play for the same team. We don't need to bring in a moody italian for ranochia to feel safe. They seem like a pretty tight group.

"Very positive influence on the squad", dude, what the fuck are you smoking?
- At Roma, Osvaldo slapped Lamela
- At Saints, Osvaldo punched Fonte

Unless Ranocchia likes getting beaten up, I am sure we can find better friends for him than Osvaldo.

Ugh.

He has some skills for sure but personally, I'd be very tempted to kick him right in the teeth.

I am also not convinced by him.
Chicharito would be a better signing, but from what Ausilio said we want a striker who can also play as SS (and as winger if possible).

It's pretty clear Osvaldo will come on loan with an option to buy if we can't find a striker in this window. It will be a last moment acquisition or something close to that, if indeed nothing has happened in the forward transfers.

This.

Sportmediaset believes that Osvaldo on loan to Inter is practically a done deal.

Dry loan without any kinds of right or obligation involved would be fine :palm:
Wishful thinking, he could be great if he gets back his form a year ago though.
