Of course he'd be vice-icadri and will help Icardi keep up, in terms not to get cocky. But he can also cover other positions as well. His first season in Roma he played as left wide forward ffs. Played as AM in EPL often behind Lambert in 4-2-3-1.

At this point of the squad evolution, last thing we need is a cocky fucker in our dressing room, specially if this cocky fucker thinks a bit too much about himself. Someone like Zlatan would be okay as a cocky fucker because he's top 3 striker in the world, but Osvaldo is just an average so cockiness just doesn't fit to him that well (because there isn't that much skill and quality to back up the attitude).
