It's pretty clear Osvaldo will come on loan with an option to buy if we can't find a striker in this window. It will be a last moment acquisition or something close to that, if indeed nothing has happened in the forward transfers.

Osvaldo is actually quite skilful, more so than Icardi, but yet he struggles just as much to combine with his team-mates. I think it's a mental thing, but I'm not sure.

He'll score some amazing goals, but miss some sitters. He has always had great potential, but has never really fulfilled it. On top of all that he is a head-case that has a history of getting offside with his team mates.

So if we're lucky he might fight Icardi and punch some sense into him. I know most of you love Icardi, but I would very much enjoy such a scenario.

Osvaldo is one of the most selfish players I've ever seen.

He can combine pretty well, but he doesn't really want to when he thinks he can score. And on top of that, his finishing is not the greatest either, so....

I guess Osvaldo as Icardi back-up would be a much more preferred deal than getting Rocchi at the last minute.

Osvaldo is good, versatile player, and no, Icardi is not faster than him as someone mentioned. He was VERY good in Roma. Flopped in EPL, but maybe the league doesnt suit him, and also he was misused, played as AM/SS all the time.

I would take him, but only on loan with RIGHT to buy. Fuck no to anythig else. He is too big of liability for us to splash money, in our situation. What if he still acts retarded? What if he brings bad athmopshere in the dressing room? But the other if is, what if he wants to get badly and starts performing as he can?

Loan, or no deal.
