I have a soft spot for Man of Steel for that Hans Zimmer score alone. Some of his best work. As for the killer Supes thing. I think the point was that he had been Superman for like 2 minutes and didn't know any better way to stop him without killing him. And it's not like he wanted to kill him. They made it apparent as well. So I don't understand the hate.

Now, the letting his father die scene....now I have an issue with that. That was just poor writing

Superman didn't let his father die, Jonathan wanted to die.

The scenes with his father was very inconsistent. First he tells Clark to embrace his powers but when Clark want to save his dog in the car from the tornado his dad tells him no and stand there and get killed by the tonardo.

That is some BS writing but not as much in BvS which had full of plotholes.

I heard that they were still re-shooting and editing Justice league up until maybe only one or two months ago and there was talk they may delay it even but decided to meet the deadline. If so, yeah its gona suck. They done the same for suicide squad and we all know how that turned out

Justice League can't suck any worse than BvS. I was surprised how good the Wonder Woman movie is which is why I'm not hiving up on JL just yet.

CGI cluster fucks... Ares dies. Everyone who was trying to shoot each other just hug it out!! Wtf !!

Problem with DC is their hero’s are too over powered so you will end up with these CGI cluster fks we have been seeing

Full disclaimer: I am a complete comic book idiot, the only background I have are minutes of Wiki readings and Smallville.

For me, Superman should be the epitome of heroes-don't-kill. Because of his moral standings, and because he is the most powerful superhero (among the famous ones).

Now I have no problem with him killing people, but not in the first movie. It should be a moment so big that it's not thrown away just like that: Either Zod dies or some random family. It should perhaps be in the second or third movie or something. And it should have had more weight. Like for example, he refused to kill someone, causing some one else to die. And thus the next moment he killed, it was more justified.

And yes, Jonathan Kent dying was my biggest beef with the movie. I am all fine with characters dying, but I fucking hate stupid, unnecessary deaths.

Everyone knows Batman & Robin, Spider-Man and Superman. Just start the movie mid fight haha.

That was my beef with Man of Steel along with how his dad dies, and the Amazing Spider-Man series. If you don’t know that with great power comes great responsibility and uncle Ben dies then fk you!! You aren’t watching the movie anyway!

I've grown tired of the marvel formula recently. I found Doctor Strange, Civil War, Guardians 2, and Ant Man to be just fine. However, I saw the new Thor movie and really really enjoyed it. It could be kiwi bias given the director, but I found it to be incredibly funny. In my top 3 marvel cinematic universe movies along with Iron Man 1 and Guardians 1

Only good marvel movies are Iron Man 1 And Guardians 1. They are both awesome movies. I liked Guardians > all the Star Wars movies. Iron Man 1 had a weak villian but the whole movie was awesome. Guardians Villian to me wasn’t that weak. He wasn’t a weaker version of Star Lord with a shitter costume like all the other marvel villains. He had a reason to hate the planet he hated. I accepted his purpose and his plan. Didn’t feel he was evil for no fking reason like all the other Marvel villains.

That being said I loved Ant Man super super funny loved the Mexican friends explainations of shit.

Everyone nuts on the captain America movies I didn’t really like them. Civil war had a very interesting bad guy that I liked. Good reason to hate them and he didn’t plan to fight them. Just not realistic. No one dies? Has some cool moments but too PG. winter soilder to me is the most over rated movie. I mean maybe because they were hyping it up as Marvels Dark Knight. Again it was just too PG for the tone they went with.

Spider-Man I didn’t like the breakfast club BS they did. I want to see him as Spider-Man for 70% of the movie!!! He had a cool suit and people nut on the Kid but Andrew Garfield suit/the way he moved was cooler and the Toby Movies are 100x better.

I liked Ironmman 3 as well, it almost felt like a spy movie to me? I dunno it was fun and enjoyable. It was down to earth and real as well with the ptsd thing. I don't really get the hate, I know it isn't like the actual Mandarin but it was an enjoyable film.

Iron Man 3 is a great stand alone film. What Shane Black managed to do with the script felt so fresh.

My only gripe was the whole extremis and Mandarin thing (although Ben Kingsley was brilliant in it )

Took my nephew who are 3,5, 7 to see the last one it was fking awful. They asked me half way through if we could leave because they were bored. I have never been happier in my life.

Transformer 1 was awesome. After that it became a 2-3 hour toy commercial/US military recruitment video.

No offense to our Armed forces but no one wants to see you take on a Giant robot or a Super hero. Transformers we want to see Robots fighting robots. After the 1st movie a regular marine can take out a decepticon. What’s the point of having Optimus Prime if a group of 4 soilders, a hot model, and a few random teams can take out Megatron

A friend of mine invited me to the cinema tonight to see Thor.
Not being a big fan of Marvel,i went with zero expectations, but maaan the movie was so fun.
It was exactly what i needed, to shut off my mind for 2 hours and have fun and got exactly that.
