Sanchez would literally be the most creative player we have. I understand he loses the ball a lot but he can unlock defenses. He’d be a great super sub. Correa ain’t going anywhere anyways so doesn’t matter.

What ? Correa playing bad games or injured. When Sanchez bring us goals when we need goals. No discussion.

Big, big shame we didn't grab Kamada when we had the chance, he is in his prime years right now. I didn't know Samardžić had "family issues", so it's a shame we lost time there.

Yeah it's a shame. We didn't expect Samardzic's dad to be a large ass cunt. Not only he blew his son's deal apart, he made us miss out on Kamada. He could cover up both holes on midfield and forward line.

So our squad is shaping up to become something like this:

Sommer, Audero
- We weakened on this position, but it was vital to secure funds in order to further operate on the transfer market, and the quality is still up top in Italy.

Darmian, Pavard/Mavropanos/Toloi, Acerbi, DeVrij, Bastoni, Bisseck
- In defence it depends on whether we get Benji or not. If we really managed to strike Benji we‘ll have strengthened by a margin, improving on D‘Ambro and Skriniar (mostly because of his contractual situation and fitness last season).

Dumfries, Cuadrado, Dimarco, Augusto
- I think that we improved massively on the wings, because we got players suited to our style. Additionally Cuadrado - the cunt he is - still knows what it takes to win.

Barella, Sensi, Hakan, Asllani, Mkhi, Frattesi
- In midfield we basically switched Frattesi and Sensi for Gagliardini which is sensational, and removed Brozovic from the competition for regista which is ok considering our players on that position. I feel that the improvement here is underrated, because we have an option more this season in comparison to last one. I expect the same quality by Mkhi as he can rotate far more regular than last season.

Thuram, Lautaro, Correa, Arnautovic
- The attack is the biggest question mark in my opinion. Arnautovic warrants the same number of goals as Dzeko I guess, but Thuram is a puzzle. Ideally we will be able to change Correa for a young talent (please Gnonto).

All in all I think that the Mercato team - pending the decision on the RCB position - has done a great job in maintaining the same quality and experience of a last season’s team, has given us more options than last season with players who actually fit the gaps we had, and reduced the operating costs by a margin. It’s true that we missed out on some opportunities, but the situation looks bright heading into the season.

Late night thinking… just two years ago our starting line up was:

Handa
Skriniar-De Vrij-Bastoni
Hakimi-Barella-Brozo-Eriksen-Perisic
Lukaku-Lautaro (Sanchez)

Seeing this line up and our current one.. I think it’s fair to say we made a lot of bad decisions.

Bad decisions such as Perisic and Handanovic getting old, Eriksen having a heart attack and Lukaku turning into an asshole.

Skriniar and Brozovic cases didn’t go well. That’s true.

I wouldn't say a lot. It was a bad decision do not sell Skriniar for 50mln, when we had a chance to do it, and signing of Correa for 30mln, because we were desperate. Apart from that, the management is doing not bad considering the lack of recourses.

It wasn't management not selling Skriniar, it was Zhang.

Effectively Zhang forced the sale of Onana this summer because he didn't want to sell Skriniar for "too cheap" year ago. Well done.
