For me with Pavard it's max 5/10 without (most likely outcome) 3/10 (And it' s a 3 not 1 only bacause of Fratessi).

Depends on the season outcome though. If we win Scudetto this mercato is a success. Otherwise next summer gonna be a disaster. We can't afford quality but quantity, collecting cheap corpses here and there to fill 7 gaps.

It we were in pretty much the same spot this season, and we managed to survive.

If we sign Pavard I'll rate our mercato as 1/10. The -5 points goes for selling Brozovic for peanuts to Saudi league out of all places, and the -4 points goes for hanging on expensive idiot Lukaku for too long. Otherwise it would've been a 10/10 mercato to me.

How so?

Care to explain on what our management (Marotta and Ausilio) could have done better according to you?

You mean asshole that owns the club?
Steven can fuck off and so can the management team. I have been saying this for 2 years now. There is no deal we made, that any other management couldnt make.

Spend money

Absolutely, but give me some ideas what could have gone in a better way compared to what is now?

Personally, I give a quite good rating to our directors for pulling a miracle in such a tight position to where they are. Have they made any errors? Of course, but apparently it's not easy working under such a regime like Suning is.

The issue starts from the league itself, then head management of ours and so on. But considering circumstances, I think our directors have done relatively a good job. We have a pretty good squad depth compared to earlier, we have brought quality in overall. We are in short of a quality replacement for Skriniar, and maybe a bonus signing in attack. The last one is luxury maybe, but Skriniar's replacement will arrive and I'm sure it will be someone whom is at least good enough to fill the starter's position.

No offence to anyone, but there's simply way too much unnecessary negativity around. Things aren't as bad as some people claim to be.

If the budget was really only from the sales, then theres a lot we could have done better. Even you could come up with players and deals we could have done with a budget of 100M+... but its not just the players, its also the time we wasted, especially on Sommer and the Samardzic deal, which we should have aborted the second his father came to town. There were also so many #1 options and none of them came. Like, how many cb's and attackers were on our list before we settled for Arnautovic. And the sale of Correa also came way too late, just go replace him with an easy, free option in Alexis, which i dont mind, cause everyone is better than correa, but it was an easy option.

I know its funny, cause there is no money. But next time dont bullshit with " we will spend the money we get from sales" . And so far we did t spend shit, after making over 100M.
3rd year in a row they feed this narrative

Everything of this is easier said than done. It's quite obvious that negotiating with Bayern isn't as easy as it seems, Sommer deal took some time to happen as well. We might keep talking about this the whole day and still disagree on each other. I mean, look at Real Madrid - Mbappe situation, it's not the same but it seems like a never ending saga because of various reasons.

I've also criticized our management whenever I felt like they should have done better, but this time IMO our transfer market campaign is heavily underestimated by many.

Making actions based on emotions is quite risky, therefore one has to go by logic, everytime.
