A poor man’s Kane is good enough to be our third striker; let’s be honest.
Yea, I didn't think he wasn't good enough for us.
Just how I feel about him.
he doesn't feel like Kane at all, doesn't create
in all the highlights he reminds me of a stronger Lautaro
I don't think he is as complete as Lautaro, and also not a pressing type; the only thing I would say that have some similarity with Toro is he does drop quite deep to help out for a striker, but he is even way more incline to play between lines than Toro, like how AMF and SS would operate, even during transitions which Toro would help run up and pin back the defense or ready to poach for goal even after the drop back to help transitions, but Kane and Taremi, the moment they drop back way lower chance to see them back in the box poaching, and just purely setting up an opportunity for others.
Also Toro has a way larger covered area and running distances than both of them, not to mention even when they poach for goal, I think Kane and Taremi does not move like a traditional CF/striker, but a hybrid with SS/winger style, but this could be due to the league they played in.
Lastly Toro has better touches
To me Lautaro and Kane are both complete strikers, (Toro more complete imho), and Taremi is less complete but has some of the tenancy, so I can see why he can be a bit like either.
The only thing that bothers me is that last season he scored 31 goals and had 14 assists, this season he has 6 goals and 4 assists. Why such a drop in form?
My theory is not motivated since he wanted to leave this season and didn't happen?
