There is a great deal of truth in your words, but comparision between Bacca and Icardi? Please, be serious! When Bacca was on 23, he playing for teams in Venezuela, that nobody has ever heard, right? He is just one of many strikers type "average hand", who never linked with a big team.

I say sell him. I find this social media circus they are orchestrating completely disgraceful. As someone who followed this club for twenty years, I have to say he doesn't deserve his status or his captaincy. Our previous captains in those twenty years (leaving out Rano on purpose) are Bergomi and Zanetti. Enough said. There's just no comparison in terms of class and loyalty.
What's more, the captains armband shouldn't be given as part of a contract negotiation or to convince someone to stay. It should be given based on loyalty, leadership skills and adherence to the values of the club. He has shown none of the above.

Again i m not defending Wandas posts or interviews they are disgrace full and should not have been done.
All i m saying is Icardi him selfe never said a bad word about Inter. Now ofcourse it is reasonable to assume that he knows what his bitch of a wife is doing and that they planed this whole shit.

Anyway my main point has been that Icardi gets severly underrated in this Forums because he s not a fancy player even though his performances for us have been top notch since joining us. So everybody who thinks it will be easy replacing him even with 50 mio is delusional.
Imho the only young striker i would take over Icardi without hesitation is Lukaku and there is no way we could get him for the money will get for Icardi( not considering SS and wf s).

Anyway bottom line the only reason Icardi has given us for selling him is marrying that freaking gold digger. So generally I m against it but if the offer is big enough of Wanda acts stupid enough then there is not much choice left but to sell him.

I don't believe he's as underrated as you say. He's an outstanding goal scorer, nobody in their right mind can deny that. However, he needs a team that builds and creates a ton of chances for him. We don't have that team today and won't have it tomorrow. Building something of that nature can take some time and money. Icardi sale will bring some of that money.

I honestly believe that anyone (myself included) who is suggesting we sell him is due mainly to the circus that follows him. When considering that circus one has to think about what they "lose" in that player if he's gone. When we consider this, that's when the forum in general agrees that he lacks in many areas that are required in a team like Inter. We simply aren't built to feed him 5 chances per game from inside the PK mark.

It's time for him to go. He doesn't deserve and frankly NEVER (despite his scoring) deserved to wear the captains arm band. His wife is disgusting..And since we choose who we marry he needs to wear the responsibility of her actions.

I agree with you on lots of points except that i think Icardi is a more complete striker than many think he is. He s not great in link up play and holding up the ball but i think he s far from useless. Anyways my point is and was that we re not gonna be better of with 50 mio in our hands and Icardi gone. Look at Jojo many would agree that he is a more complete striker than Icardi and he can create on his own, but was he any more succesfull than Icardi out on the field? Didn't he also look fucking lost lots of times?
If inter has a plan and actually can spend the 50mio wisely on two players that actually improve us i would sign right now but i just dont see it happening.

On the captain thing i agree he should not have been made captain, but it really is not his fault that he was chosen. Also i highly doubt we would have ended the season with a single point more if Handa or Miranda got the armband. Also it s not like they don t lead on the field simply because some other guy has the armband.
Remember Cambiasso he had way more of a say on the field than zanetti once the game got going.
