Quite surprising how Thuram could sync that good. He reads the game perfectly and string one-touch passes like has been staying here for years. We could see how different he is comparing to other newcomers, like Frattesi, Arnau or Augusto, whom still struggling to adapt.

His finishing though.. :palm: nobody is perfect I guess.

To be fair the difference is he’s had a full preseason and he’s also been playing consistently so he’s had more time to gel. The others have barely played and joined late. Arna and Augusto never even got to play a friendly.

It's also difficult to judge some of the newcomers, especially the last two games against Cagliari/Fiorentina. By the time they came on the pitch, the tempo of the games really lowered and we were in energy-saving mode. Arnautovic was good in the first match against Monza and at that point we played more given it was only 1-0 at the time.

The newcomers will have their chances after the break as I believe we have 7 games or so in 22 days? They will get some starts as well.

Carlos Augusto doesn't have internalized that he can roam forward like Dimarco does. The players will get there, no worries.

you can only hear how much the people were waiting to see him scoring. I had the same reaction, specially becuse it was a really nice header. Good job and hopefully it's only the start, this is the thuram we want to see

No matter what it’s not that usual that a new attacker settles in that fast, two assist, one goal and lots of crucial play that early on. It is just very impressive. If not for Martinez being so cynical, he was probably the better player yesterday, he was making an absolute havoc in the Fiorentina defence. We really lacked a player like him, what is also quite obvious is that he reads the game to almost perfection all his missed chances comes down to him being able to be at the right spot all the time, that’s quite amazing with so few games with the team.

He was never meant to be a finisher. Isn't this like his second year as a striker / second striker? He is doing good enough for now, but that was exactly what I was afraid of, Thuram not scoring his chances (but the only real fuck up by Thuram was the counterattack where he was 1 on 1)

Let's give him time, he will miss chances and he will score goals. The question is how many goals will he score and how many chances will he miss. For now, the system Inzaghi set up works.

If he score 10-15 goals I’m more then satisfied he is not and never meant to be a main goal scorer. That should also be realistic looking at his first 3 games.

His main job is to link up and provide assists mainly so even that might be unnecessary, right now he is responsible/involved in half our goals.

I agree with this overall. The question for me is, if Lautaro hits a dry spot, will the rest of the team be able to use Thuram to pick up the slack? Im not sure yet. Past Lautaro, probably Thuram, then you're looking at Barella, Dumfries, Dimarco, Hakan, Mkhi as the goalscorers?

Well I know I'm not looking at Arnautović and Sanchez to fill the void :D

Frattesi, Augusto as well. Frattesi had 7 goals last season, Augusto had 6.

That's the thing about Milan. They think the French like them, no, they only come to Milan when they have nowhere else to go. Those who have options, choose Inter.

Imagine still believing every time a player say "oNly wANt mEeLaan" after the-biggest-Milanista-since-Maldini fucked off to Newcastle after 5 minutes of receiving the offer

That's unfair to Tonali, they literary got rid of Maldini so they had free reign to sell Tonali. They wouldn't have this good of a transfer window without selling Tonali, so it had to happen.
