Looks like another PSG bound player from Inter just like as usual.
We can assume he'll be 2024's Onana. A Bosman who generates enough plusvalenza to let us keep Bastoni/Barella/Martinez.

I just hope we sell him for more than Onana, which shouldn't be difficult if he has a good season. I also hope we do a better job of replacing him in time than we did with Onana.

So happy that Marcus is gaining his form. I was like the only one advertising him since the first rumour. Free agent, snatched from Milan, what else do you want to have? Hopefully he will score next week in the derby, to get him and the fans even more hyped! :interscarf:

Nobody who has watched Thuram rated him low though :D He was France national (where always flooded with talents) regular for a while. Getting him for free is a steal.

Some here were worried that he alone is not big enough to fill three pair of boots (at that time we only have Lautaro and an invisible Correa). And rightfully so.. as newcomer could not adapt soon and we drop points in the mean time. The surprising thing is that Thuram clicks immediately.

I have been arguing for Thuram since 2021 when we were first linked with him. Even this summer i was always saying he was a no brainer as we were looking for two forwards and there was no money.

I always thought he would end up in PSG / Chelsea etc.. It's definitely a steal such as Onana.

I did. Still do. Goal aside he was dire vs a mediocre Ireland. He lacks that cut throat edge and sharpness to pose a threat to WC defenses....

He's still a work in progress IMO as we figure out where he falls along on the forward spectrum I.e. finisher/closer or support striker. Personally I don't see him scoring 15 plus goals at this level.

I don't really rate him as a finisher, but overall he did impress me even tho he had some bad passes in his first 3 games. The willingness to try makes me happy. Rather have an attacker lose the ball by trying to risky pass forward than losing it by holding to the ball too much (which goes for Lukaku, Correa AND Sanchez) or being too chickenshit scared to try anything (Correa)

I don't care about him scoring less than 5 goals if we win the league (or CL) and he makes us better in attack. As long as his best strengths are used to the full potential, I'm happy. He can still become "Firmino" for us :)

I didn't rate him at all. And I'm still on the fence. I sincerely hope he is much better than what I anticipated initially. There's skill in him but indeed, he is pretty raw for a 27 year old player.

1 goal and 3 assists in his first 3 games in a new league and a new club somehow people are complaining about a missed pass here or there...
Cut the man some slack....
Dude has been above any expectations thus far lets hope he keeps it up.

No one's complaining. But standards are high at Inter. We're not roma

5 goals is really unacceptable. Especially under inzaghi ball. Thuram wanted the #9 and 6M net wages... then he should accept the expectations that come with that.

Standards are higher than an assist per game? Like what are the expectations your talking about exactly?
For me as long as he plays well, delivers something countable and we win it s all good and thats what he s been doing thus far...

Wether it s 5 goals and 10 assists or 10 gals and 5 assists at the end of the season i really could care less as long as we win and he contributes to it.
