I am positive this transfer will happen.
Why?
1. Brozovic help Modric in world cup.
2. Many Croatia player, especially Brozovic, Modric Idol.
3. Epic Brozo.

:unsure::unsure::unsure::unsure::unsure:

When Brozo invite you to his team, you cannot say no. :datass:

This makes no sense

If you looks Croatia Team, you will know the key Croatia NT advance to Final is Perisic and Brozovic.

Not only Modric.

Modric know Madrid Era is already gone after Zidane and CR7 left, so he want go to other club.

He prefer Inter because he can meet with Brozovic and Perisic, the croatian duo who help him going to final WC.

So Modric/his wife/his agents/ his dog can’t give Perez a call to discuss his future and instead Inter have to wait till Wednesday for Modric to meet Perez in person, wasting extremely valuable days of the transfer window in the meanwhile? I can’t believe we’re that dumb. But if we’re, we well deserve all this shit we’ve been going through these years.

Skybet has lowered the odds from 2:1 (33%) to 7:2 (22%).

Yeah and I think we are in extremely thin ice here, if we are wasting mercato days waiting for Modric. If he really wanted to leave, he would have let his agent(s) handle the move to a more advanced state. If it's now like Modric goes to chat with Perez and they decide there what they're gonna do, it's a complete coin flip there. Do we have time to wait for coin flips?

IMO there's still a big possibility it's just a money milking move by the agent. Nevertheless I don't like this setup we have here. That we need to wait for days to hear from the player what he actually wants.

Will Perez also have meetings with other Real players or only Modric?

In Spain - Modric is seriously considering leaving Real Madrid. Inter prepared a sensational offer to seduce the Croatian, a 4-year contract to more than 10 million per season. But Real does not take the offer seriously, they are convinced that Inter would not respect its financial fair play constraints. Moreover, from Madrid they say that there is no pact to facilitate the departure of Modric from the Bernabeu. The operation is led by the agent of Modric and Pedja Mijatovic, who for the duration of the World Cup has caused Modric to leave Madrid to move to Milan.

IF HE REALLY WANTS TO MOVE HERE! REAL ARE FUCKED! KEEPING A PLAYER AGAINST THEIR WILL IS MADNESS!
they are not taking us seriously?! Hahaha ok,keep an unsatisfied player...that'should do wonders for your team morale

In Madrid for weeks they were all certain: #Modric was supposed to be today in Valdebebas. Everything was planned with the company, the Spanish newspapers know, but they showed confusion: everyone was waiting for him today. Expected? In the Croatian entourage there are those who would swear not.

Just a question.....

Why paying a shit load of wage to a 33 years old (who unlike ronaldo won't give back any merchandise value) is being accepted with so much love from us ?

I understand the value he brings to this team in the 1st year ( even more if he actually wins golden ball) but why we should give him 4 years contract is not clear to me....

im sceptical too and im usually all for paying the money for quality but hes 33 years old this year and pay 10M per year for him untill hes 37 seems a bit short-sighted if im beeing totally honest.

YES, we get alot better this year but that comes at an incredible steep price and which also stranglehold our wage budget for some years.

He's the best midfielder in the world...And who said he won't have any "merchandise" value?

Yeah 4-year contract is a bit of a stretch for sure. Though Modric probably ages really well, I'd guess he will slow down after 2-3 years so the last 1-2 years could be him being not a instant starter.

It's just that getting a player like Modric, a real superstar, one of the bests in the world, is so rare at Inter that people would accept this easily here. He's not marketable at all, compared to CR7, so we would have to just bite our teeth and accept all the cost it takes. It would be also a statement that Inter is back in business

This tax thing for foreigners though is another aspect why we might be able to offer him a 10m€ annual contract. Pay 100k for all the taxes for the year if you haven't been at Italy for 9 years in the last 10 => first two years of Modric we would be able to use this and it would equal about 5m€ annual salary. This law came effective this year so I think football clubs start to use this more for foreign signings?
