Well .. when he was initially bought from bologna .. i did not think it was an investment worth... but this year .. he's on fire ... seems to be Inter's crisis man ... and he's given me reason to believe that he's inter's most underrated striker .. Watch out people .. another star in the making ...

Inter Stories: Saviour Cruz Being Let Go Of For Free

Inter striker Julio Cruz might incredibly be left free to leave the Nerazzurri at the end of the season.
‘El Jardinero’s’ contract expires in June, and even though the Argentine tower is the one bagging the decisive goals for his club in the past couple of months, the Inter management have yet to contact him for renewal talks.

“I am waiting for a call from them, but until now, nothing…,” he told ‘Il Corriere dello Sport’ yesterday.

This season Cruz has already scored eight goals, hitting the net an average of once every 81 minutes.

Letting Cruz go for free would be a crime. Vieri was one thing (he sucks anyways) but losing El Jardinero would make my head burst like balloon being pricked by a safety pin..... what is somewhat of an odd thing to say, but it's true.

Our all-seing transfer guys better not mess this one up.

well everyone talks of new players coming in ... sometimes i get the feeling that we dont respect our unsung heroes enough.the likes Hammer, Cruz shud have been offerred contracts long back , they r within the final 6-7 months of their current contracts.

Well, at least I hope that another club haven't offered Cruz a suitable contract before we do. As it looks now he's the one to extend contract with.

Ze Maria and Hammer can go.We can replace them even though I wouldn't mind keeping them.

Inter will renew Cruz's contract.
Letting him go is crazy.

I want ZeMaria out!
We bought him as a back up for Javier and he sucks.
Basically he sucks even a RB even as RM.
We need quality players even as back ups.

no way ... he is as imp as Cruz is. Many people may undermine his abilities but he is a damm good DM.

Julio ready for Cruz to Roma
Monday 21 November, 2005
Inter striker Julio Cruz looks likely to move to Roma at the end of the season, according to reports in Italy.

Cruz, whose contract expires in the summer, has been waiting for the Nerazzurri to offer him a new deal after an exceptional season so far.

But with no such arrangement forthcoming, the Argentina striker will be available for nothing in six months.

Roma, who seem resigned to losing Antonio Cassano for nothing in June as the striker continues to refuse the improved terms on a new three-year-deal, are keen on compensating for the £20m signing from Bari.

Although it would hardly recoup the financial loss of Cassano, procuring the services of Cruz for free would at least help draw a line under the whole messy affair.

The Giallorossi are prepared to offer the South American £1.7m a season for four years and the in-form 31-year-old - who has just earned a recall to the Argentina squad but remains something of a San Sio super sub - is keen on the move.

Another free agent who could be on his way to the Stadio Olimpico at the end of the season is Hatem Trabelsi of Ajax.

The right-back, who will represent Tunisia at the World Cup in the summer, has attracted the interest of Juventus, Milan and Arsenal.

However, with Luciano Moggi seemingly commandeering proceedings, it appears that the Juve transfer mogul is willing to ‘allow’ the player to move to Roma, much as he is supposed to have permitted similar transfers to the capital involving Samuel Kuffour and Shabani Nonda.

something is definitely wrong ... i really dont understand why we refuse to show confidence and trust in Cruz and also Hammer.

he is the best Inter striker this season ... and is made to look like he is on trial for a new deal

I think one of the reasons thta we didn't renew it is thta we want to exchange him for Cassano in January.

Totally agree. I don't think its smart it would be better to excchange recoba for cassano since they play the same position. Just hope we get a focused cassano and not the brat.

then we wud have to replace Cruz with someone with good heading abilities bcoz neither Cassano nor Recoba/Martins fits that bill.

we play with 2 wingers ... crosses have to be met with a striker with good heading capability.

Once again he comes in and scores, we can't give this guy a new contract a moment too soon.
