lol,Cruz is a great player, but he is no super sub,i think one of the mistakes i see happen is when if we are drawing or losing and cruz comes in,he doesnt really get in the game,he has to be a starter to perform to his best.

I agree wholeheartedly. It takes awhile for Cruz to get going when he starts but when he does, he's very good, especially when paired with Obagol. Those two have a good chemistry for some reason.

We need to keep Cruz. When he plays for us he gives 110% and scores occasionally and also never whinges when he is on teh bench.. He is the ultimate professional footballer....

well its obvious why, Cruz drops back and leaves most the space to martins. But when Adriano plays with him, the room Martins would normally run to is taken by the Emperor himself :D

Cruz has made 2 sub appearances, in which he has scored 3 goals!

HE'S ON FIRE..... I wanna get CRUZ-9 on my shirt.. god he's a legend.

When he scored against Lecce and the announcer is like "JULLLIIIIIIIOOOO RICARDO (crowd joins in) CRUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ" and he kisses the shirt. He's a true champion.

He has become great interista and after Adriano's injury last spring he has played best football of his career and seems he is just improving. Great that Il Jardinero wanted to stay, he also had difficult times. Now he has become great part of new Inter.

INTER 2009/10 !
wow...I apologise to Cruz...I wasn't a fan of him in the last past years, bcause I thought he wasn't good enough to play for Inter...He surely proved me wrong and I think that at the moment he is enjoying the time of his life..Just keep it up..Congradulations Julio!! There is no doubt now that we have an outstanding 4 strikers and that there is NO need for 5th striker..

Even the commentator said, Cruz would get into the line-up of any other team in Serie A (I'm sure he meant, excluding the other big 2).

This is great news. If Cruz knows his role with Inter, and perfectly accepts it, then I see no reason why we shouldn't renew with him for a while. We will be lucky to have a player like him happy with a sub-par role.

Cruz eager for new Inter deal Monday 19 September, 2005

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Julio Cruz is reportedly looking for a new contract at Inter following his sensational start to the season.

The Argentine is only tied to the Nerazzurri until next June, but wants to remain after netting four goals in three games so far this term.

"Cruz wants to stay at Inter because he is happy with life at the club," his agent Jorge Czysterpiller stated.

"However, he now deserves a great contract to go along with the fact that he is a great player."

The former River Plate ace arrived at the San Siro in August 2003 from Bologna, following Chelsea’s late swoop for Hernan Crespo.

"I can’t hide the fact that a number of clubs have already asked me for information on Cruz," continued Czysterpiller.

"But we have yet to speak with anyone because Inter is our primary option. We are hopeful that it can all be sorted out as soon as possible."

The 30-year-old started his career at Banfield in 1993 before moving to the European game with Feyenoord in 1997.

He remained for four years in Holland, subsequently proving to be a massive hit during four seasons at Bologna.

Cruz spent most of last term on the bench but has seen more action following the departure of Christian Vieri.

Oh I can't deci
I really hope we extend his contract, at least 2 more seasons. It will be really difficult to find another forward like Cruz, not so much for his goals but his attitude as well.
