ITs good that you havent posted the actual incident that let to the PK. Most comical penalty I have ever seen, on par with Viera's chicken dive, in Juve vs Parma last season.

Wasn't the incident in the highlights? At first I actually thought the defender hacked Gourcuff down with his hands but after seeing a reply it was clear what happened.

I don't actually know for sure where Costacurta's nick comes from since from the net you can read it was about the film. Another version is that it's his favoutite basketball team or his favourite basketball team's sponsor or something.

Yeah Adnan, it's "Billy the Kid" alright. I kinda guessed (Don't know if I'm tight) that "the Kid" part has to do with his amazing consistency despite his age but..."Billy"?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billy_the_Kid --- lol?

Interesting thing about big guns in Italian football:
*Inter celebrates scudetto
*Milan celebrates CL win
*Roma celebrates Coppa Italia
*Juventini celebrate Serie B title
*Torino celebrated survival
*Laziali semicelebrated Inter's title as well as their arrival to Europe.
*Napoli and Genoa probably will celebrate arrival to top league again
*And you can add up the Italian win in WC which was celebrated together.

For some of them a celebration is said too much but when you think of it, the emotions are mostly positive for the fans and only regrets are when you look at your rival's achievements.

Haha true... I wasn't thinking of anything out of the first 2, except the World Cup to be honest... Having Napoli and Genoa in Serie A would be sweet. And let's hope the juve contolling EVERYTHING stopped, coz I pretty much doubt it

*Football fans celebrate jailing the gobbi where they should've been long time ago.

So... last weekend of Serie A. 5 teams still fighting survival but only 1 will go down - Chievo, Parma, Catania, Reggina and Siena. Who do you want to go down?

Siena or Chievo for me. Tiny clubs, one of which is JuBe's feeder club and has the same colors as them. The other have been a pain in our ass for many seasons.

I just realized that Bianchi and Amoruso has combined for an incredible total of 34 goals this season. That probably is the best total for a striking duo since DoPe boy and Trezegay got 40 in 01/02. It'll be incredible to see them get relegated.

Well, thanks in large part to Toni's incredible goal tally last season, Fiorentina's striking duo of Toni & Bojinov managed 37 goals. In fact, the duo consisting of Toni & Jorgensen actually registered a total of 38 goals, thanks to the latter's 7 strikes.

Of course, much of the credit must go to Toni himself. :D

Ciao,
Tim

Torino and Cagliari are saved so i don't really care.
Maybe i rather chievo, catania or SIENA (this guys better go to B, i still i'am angry of the draw of last year), over Parma (classic serie a in the last years) and Reggina (excellent season and deserve to stay.

Mini-Jube to B!

I kind of wish Catania to go down as well but that's only because of the chaos that one lunatic caused and I shouldn't hate them for that. But Siena is a perfect one to go down. And to think they would fall because of that one point lost with socail security issues would make me even happier.

I'd rather see Siena go down because I personally consider them as another "affiliate" for Gobbi.

There's just no way in hell that Siena goes down. We all know why. They'll beat Lazio with two-nill or something. Same as Reggina will beat Milan.

Only game to be taken seriously is Catania-Chievo. Most likely the loser in that match will go down.

I don't want to see Chievo in Serie B. They used to be a great team with Gigi Del Neri back in 2001-2002 (can't forget their season..). I believe that Del Neri's team with more transfers + time can perform alot better.

Well, there's only Siena..

I want Chievo in B I can't stand them and their fans. Catania I want to stay in A because they have amazing fans and bring great atmoshpere and quality to Serie A.

Plus, they're SICILIAN :D

I definitely want Chievo to go down, but only because I'm partial to Hellas Verona. I never liked them, anyway.
