From what I saw tonight, despite the good debut, I don't think he has an endurance to play from the start.

All subs played good. We neutralized Monza and blocked most of their chances.
Very mature and solid display. Looks like we played with 50% of strength.
It looked like 1-0 was never going to be a short for a win.

Arnautovic looked badass at moments, that backheel was class

Good start! Happy for Toro and I think all did really well for 1st game. DiMarco was done around 50th minute but he was really good imo and was close to a goal or 2.
I think that we have a great team and even in this first game with really hot weather we had some brilliant minutes and moves. Looking forward with excitement.

I want this same team with Frattessi instead of Mikitarian.

Because Cuadrado-Carlos Augusto-Mikitarian and Arnatunovic entering from the bench in minute 60-70 can give us a very nice energy and straightforward style to comeback from some games.

Last season when we made 3-4 subs, the quality rapidly dropped and the team started struggling. Today, after the subs we played even better.

The bench will make the diffrence this year. Specialy if Pavard should join we would be covered almost at every position. This is the diffrence between us and the other teams and also why we could play for the league this season. Last year we had players like Gagliardini on the bench or Bellanova. Now Miky or Frattesi, Cuadrado instead Bellanova. Augusto could be another upgrade considering how disapointing Gosens was.

Our wing is also mostly where we seen an upgrade

By having Cuadrado this can hopefully keep Dumfries alert, as we have another one who can just as well be the starter, it also mean that on such a challenging position we won’t see a significant drop and we can rotate more keeping them more fresh doing the season and those avoid burning them out.

Carlos Augusto really showed why I like that deal, again a noticeable step up and he just stepped in, he can give the dept and offer an actual alternative.

It offer a weapon we did not have last season, because the two starter will run the defenders tired and we can throw in the other two that is bound to result in more chances.

If Arna can keep this he is far to prefer over Lukaku and Dzeko as he actually create assist, has some technical ability and because he comes in after Thuram run them tired this I hope will deliver plenty of chances and goals.

is it perfect; no, but as I have written before I did not see Thuram and Arna as a step down from the other two and I think they showed why I didn’t tonight… Hopefully they keep up and improve. Yes it would have been nice with a younger and a talented attacker with a nose for goal… but we already have Martinez and many other teams in Serie A don’t even have that.

Guys I really got impressed by Arna. he is much better than Static Dzeko. his dribling and pace at 34yo! are incredible. I'm sad cus we didn't get him some years ago.
also I think the same for Cuadrado. he should've joined us so earlier.

Also thanks to Inzaghi cus he used all of subtitions and give minutes to most the team.

Hope Martinez get some rest and not have to play all games.

I just don`t want a repeat of what happened with Dzeko. He was used like an workhorse and after a few months he was completely gassed.

When I was a teenager, we had a guy similar to Arna in our block. Fighter, not afraid to be mean and dirty with other boys in the hood, especially 5 on 5 and pickup games. Wish he does not fade as Dzeko. Keep fighting!
