Finally a win vs Monza.
I did like all of the new signings. Augusto and Arnatunovic entered very hungry, i like that. Thuram will be better than Lukaku for us, very fast and good dribbler will be Lautaro's Robin or Scottie Pippen. Sommer feels quite strange with the ball in his feet, if he can do Handanovic 2020 job it's ok, it's just that i feel even Handa was better with his feet, but let's see.
Bissek i don't know didn't had enogh time.
And btw i like Limone idea of Mikhi as forward, i think it was that the idea if we had signed Samaridzic, because it doesn't make sense to buy him as 6th midfielder, it's just because Mikhi > Correa right now.

Dimarco had a fine game, did you see how many times he conquered the ball and broke in… it was just the finishing product that lacked a bit, but first game of season so to be expected. I’m satisfied with his performance imho.

There wasn’t really any noticeable poor performance today when you counter in this is first game and we had so many new who came in.

Cuadrado wasn’t better then Dumfries he just came in with fresh legs and played against more tired players.

Of the players that didn't feature, we also had Asllani, Acerbi, Audero, Correa, Sensi, Stabile and Stanković on the bench. All in all, a better bench than last season FOR SURE.

Off to a very good start and this game shows that not only options count, but having the right options counts. Especially the WB substitutions were great.

I’d single out obviously Toro, Arnautovic, Carlos, and Barella sexy as always.

The bench will make the diffrence this year. Specialy if Pavard should join we would be covered almost at every position. This is the diffrence between us and the other teams and also why we could play for the league this season. Last year we had players like Gagliardini on the bench or Bellanova. Now Miky or Frattesi, Cuadrado instead Bellanova. Augusto could be another upgrade considering how disapointing Gosens was.
