People still shitting on Conte despite us having this end to our campaign last year beating Atalanta, Napoli and others, not conceding in like 7 straight matches or something. Why that does not suprise me.

Brozo is out as the leading midfielder for our team. I don't know how anybody might miss that memo yet. He will not play. Eriksen will play, with Barella and gags covering his ass, until Vidal gets into match rhytm.

It's funny, how gags being one of the reasons (not main one though) as to why we had such a run last year at the end which would not happen with Eriksen playing there, but due to some major collective amnesia, we go back to "why the hell gags is starting". It took there I think 3 or 4 games until people stopped asking this question. I hope it will take sooner this time around.

Our team will do great. We have Hakimi and Perisic on those wings, that will give a couple sleepless nights to the other coach. It's not like last year where we relied a lot on 3-4 players in attack. This time, it's gonna be 7, with Kolarov/DAmbrosio doing a lot more than Skriniar there. Not saying it will be the same defensively, but our offensive power should help with that a bit if we only scare them enough in the beginning. Lukaku, Lautaro, Eriksen, Hakimi, Perisic and Barela and yet people are shitting their pants here.

This is worse lineup than last season.

I'm worried about how defensively suspect our 3412 can be. We shipped a lot of goals playing this formation post-COVID break. I don't really see why that shouldn't be the case now.

It could work if Eriksen tracks back deeper when we're defending, making more of a 532, but we're still very liable to get destroyed on the counter against pacy wingers/ forwards. The two holding mids will have to sit that extra bit deeper and cover the wings when necessary. This limits Barella's game to an extant as he plays best as a mezzala, but I think he can do it. If Gagliardini is playing, this formation could help us out as we won't have to rely on his offensive contribution as much as we did playing a 352. In that formation, the mezzalas have a much bigger role in the attacking buildup.

Very pumped up for todays game, especially for our wings with Perisic, Hakimi and Eriksen in the hole. I think/hope we will get 3 to 1 or 2 to 1 chances than fiora in this game and that we will take them. Starting with a draw or a loss will dumpen our enthusiasm a bit.

Fiora will be dangerous on the counter, but hopefully we will negate that. I heard there is a chance brozo will start which will be interesting and a little bit worrying seeing how he couldn't get a long too much with Eriksen also on the pitch.

Iachini said he would rather play as later in a season. Can't blame him for that statement. Unlike some, we are very dangerous side in Serie A at the moment, even with Kolarov - Bastoni - Dambrosio in defensive line.
