De Vrij instead of Miranda. Very small upgrade as Miranda is good too.

Asamoah instead of LB d'Ambrosio => upgrade
Politano instead of Candreva => upgrade
Martinez instead of Icardi => downgrade
Nainggolan instead of Rafinha => downgrade...

Keita would have been an upgrade but is injuried. Vrsajlko would have been good but is injuried...

So we made some good buys on the paper but are actually worse than last year, what a shame.

I think this game might be one of the most exciting ones because if Perisic, Icardi and Radja will be unavailable, then Spalletti will finally have to play the youngstes. I assume he would just love to play Candreva - Keita - Politano up front but each of them is probably not fit to play 90 mins (because of age; because of injury; by default).

Our bench will also be pretty weird, probably just Ranocchia and Miranda will be there and that's pretty much it.

It's going to be the youth or no subs. Starting some of them might be a good decision as a confidence boost, I'd personally much rather prefer Keita-Colidio-Politano then any combination with Candreva...

I really hope Spalletti will not do anything stupid.

This goes back to what I was saying though: Can you really see this front-three all play 90 mins? Spalletti was redundant to use all three changes even in previous guys so I'm really worried what he's going to do now. Our substitues are really only Ranocchia and Miranda so wouldn't be surprised if opts to go for back-three (horrible idea IMO) and then just puts Ranocchia as a libero...

If he does it, I will be extremely pissed. It's one thing if you don't give changes to teanagers when you have other options, but if you do this kind of shit, It's starts to be disrespectful.
