we have to focus on EL after that lose against Lazio in coppa... sure CL is important, but we are not Atalanta cmon man. 7 years without a trophy or even a chance to win something. When was last time we reached at last a final? the last one that we won, against Palermo 2012. I have enough of this. Even if this team has a lot of problems, wining EL is not impossibile.

With half fit Keita the only senior bench option (assuming Brozovic is out). Our squad has been decimated! I don't see a choice but to fill the bench with primavera players. Some of the subs will have to come from the primavera, I hope we have 1-2 who are ready to make an impact (Colidio? Merola? Salcedo? Adorante?)

Wow, we are in trouble with the squad availability but it's good not to have expectation and get excited if we get a positive result though.

We can't field Salcedo in EL, I think he is ineligible for list B. Not sure about Colidio,but since we bought him, every million counts in our squad list due to SA restrictions. Merola,Adorante,Schiro will be those sitting on the bench.

This will be a fun match. "Decimated squad" is an understatement. We can definitely rival that famous 2014 lineup with Jonathan and Mvila.

Ok. I didn't know that. My bad then. Anyway, i think Spalletti will be forced to use one or two youngsters during the game no matter how much he hates it. He has no other choice.

i mean, i know you're right, but i just have zero fate in spalletti leading us to the victory of europa league. we barely made it last season to the fourth spot with no cup matches.

also, i realize i have said the opposite just a few days ago. but again, i reconsidered when thinking about spallett's history and partly because of the psv match. not to mention the injuries.

i'll be there as always and i hope we go through, of course. but i've become quite a cynic lately.

Prediction on Schiro getting this time makes me worried.
We all know that Valero is getting tired quickly. I do want him in the starting line-up as he has this pitch-inteligence that can help us out, if we don't have Brozo on. However, keeping him for too long will be IMO counter productive so I hope between 60-70 min we will put a youngster on.

Risky? Sure, but we don't really have a choice so let's be realistic about what players on the pitch can give us.
