Look at United? Team that just turned an incredible comeback away to PSG last week? Team that still makes the CL on, at least, a semi-regular basis and tends to reach the knockouts from there, something we haven't done since I was in high school (I think it's called secondary school in Europe, right?)?
I'm well aware that United isn't at the level they want to be either these days, but even then we wish we were at their current level the way things have been for us for the majority of this decade.
And people were looking down on Frankfurt
Reality check please
You've missed my point, I was saying that United made an incredible progress by making a change, compared to Inter. I agree with what you say.
If forced to choose between team Perisic and team Icardi, I choose team Sell Them Both.
Very impressed by the amount of ground jovic covers. He had had some nice plays deep in his own half
all in all, eintracht is nothing special. we were just worse than they are.
It doesn't matter whether they are special or not.
People were afraid we were going to struggle, not because they were overly strong.
A struggle is a struggle, whether the cause is them or us, is largely irrelevant in this discussion.
It's like we are afraid of Sassuolo, not because they are strong, but because we are weak as fuck against them.
they are a good team that are fighting for champions league spots in germany
despite our legacy any smart fan should have known this would be a tough matchup as it proved
i'm judging what i saw. they proved to be mediocre in the 180 minutes against us. maybe it was just two poor games, who knows, but unless this is the case, i don't see how they can advance against chelsea or arsenal/napoli.
