I vote for Julio Cesar to go on loan this season :)

and if we can find a cheap and moderate 2nd keeper Carini can also go on loan

then we shall see in a years time :D

of course not ; but we can afford another on a year-long contract.

basically the point is to see how d 2 does over a season

if it goes to book we will be saving a good 7-8m on the keeper we have 2 buy to replace Toldo next year !

if they r not good enough Tough Luck :depress:

but no way i want their 1st full season as number 1 at Inter :fero:

sayakonline,I completly agree with you. There is completly no point to keep Cesar or Carini as bench warmers. How could we know in that case that they are good enough to be our nr 1 at 2006/07 season ???We must loan them out to some smaller team and see if they are Serie A starters materials.

So,just take some old dude for free to the bench and loan out Carini and Cesar. That's my point.

Cesar didn't even manage to play for Chievo. Where exactly would you send him to play?

Chievo was not having an easy season, but their goalkeeper and left back were doing very well. So, there was no point in changing the thing which was not broken. That's what I came to know. Sadly, two Inter players had to pay for that - J.Cesar (GK) & Potenza (LB).

That was why J.Cesar should have joined Siena instead, which he was rumoured to. But he had said that he wudn't want to join Siena as it was a small club for him.

Anywaz, welcome to Inter .. J.Cesar ... dun know how long his inter adventure's gonna be. :D

I doubt Chievo wanted to use him anyway, as he was just destined to leave at the end of the season, hence he wasn't in any of their plans. Marchegiani (if I'm not wrong) was their keeper anyhow, and he was very good.

Marchegiani was Chievo's only (or one of the only) shining stars. So why would they bench him and start Julio Cesar? You can't say he sucks just because he didn't get time with a team that was set on using it's current GK. It was a bad idea to send him to Chievo.

So do I. Guess that is the reason why I want him to be the starter for 06/07. :D

I don't know who to pick since Carini when he started freaked me out most times, obviously except Atalanta in Coppa and Messina.

yeh. I think the deal between Inter and Chievo was to let him train there for a while.

See you never get bored watching Inter games when Carini is in the goal. :dielaugh:

thatz why u shud not judge a keeper when he is coming off d bench ... give both of them a decent chance and see who will be more useful to us :D

I've always liked Carini since he made his debut. We were thrashing Messina, I woke up at like 3.00AM and Adriano had just scored a hat trick, it was nice. Then Toldo was sent off and Messina had a penalty.. I was like 'shittt here we go - can never keep a clean sheet'. Then the penalty was scored with Carini in goal.. BUT the referee made them re take it. And Carini made a brilliant save. :D

Dudek saved Liverpool's ass in the penalty on CL final

and now they have chucked him out of the squad ... got some Spanish keeper in :D

never judge a keeper from penalty-saves. :proud:

I don't know what happened with Dudek. He was awesome with Feyenoord, but then couldn't himself together at Liverpool, but he was decent in their first season.
